"What happened?" Jace asked making his way over. I watched Elijah cradle Mia carefully. She looked tiny in his arms.

"We ran into Damian's copy... he didn't do anything much... but she's so scared, I admit it scared me too."

  "Come on, let's go inside." I hesitated at Jace's offered hand.

"Come on baby," Jace murmured and I grabbed his hand. Elijah walked behind us holding Mia gently.

I set the formula on the counter letting go of Jace's hand. "I'm sorry," I whispered to Damian as he walked in. He gazed at me in confusion then looked at Mia.

"What's wrong?" Damian asked, Mia gripped Elijah tighter letting out another cry. "What happened?" Damian demanded looking near panic.

"They had a run in with your evil twin." Jace explained.

Logan's eyes widened. "What?! Echo are you okay?"

I shrugged off Logan's concern. "I'm fine, our daughter, is not."

Damian reached out to touch Mia, she screamed. "What's wrong?" Logan asked Mia stroking her hair putting it behind her ear gently.

"Daddy hurt Mia," Mia whispered reaching for Logan who took her carefully from Elijah.

Damian turned at me, his expression turned from confused and concerned to anger, anger at me.

"What the fuck did you do?" Mia screamed again clawing at Logan whispering mangled pleas for him to take her night night.

"I'm going too take her to bed, maybe Theo will help." Logan told us jogging up the stairs.

"She didn't do anything, calm down." Elijah told Damian calmly.

"My daughter won't even look at me, and you're telling me to calm down?!"

It had been a long time since Damian screamed at me... It's been awhile since he's even been mad at me. I'm not ready for this.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know he would be there..." I trailed off.

"You should have let us go to the fucking store like we so kindly offered, but no! You had to go, and you took my child and ruined her!"

I gasped stepping away slightly. "Damian shut the fuck up." Jace snapped. Jonathan swallowed and ran out the door shaking.

"I'm not going to shut up when she ruined our daughter! She's fucking traumatized because of you're inability to do shit!"

Not able to take it anymore I ran to my room  slamming the door behind me locking the door.

I slid down the wall and wiped away my tears.

I grabbed my phone when it began ringing and answered. "Hello?"

"Ah, Echo," there was a pause. "Are you well, you sound off," I sighed trying to compose myself enough to answer Quinn.

"I'm fine! What's up?"

"Well, we were wondering if you'd like to come over tonight? It's been awhile since we've been able to talk to just you."

I hesitated. "I don't know... I just had a bit of a fight with Damian, I should probably stay..."

"Oh, well, alright," Quinn sounded disappointed. I rammed my head into the wall unable to stop my next words.

"Let me talk to the guys first, I'll call you back in the next twenty minutes."

Quinn thanked me and we both hung up.
