I laughed nervously and looked around the room. "Where's Jonathan, I mean-"

"Sit down Echo," at Logan's cold commanding voice I sat instantly.

"What is it?" I asked avoiding Damian's eyes.

"You always seem to be in the center of danger... Abusive relationships, Chaos, and now Death."

I gulped not understanding what They were going to get at. "So?"

"Echo, your a bit of a hazard." I threw My hands in the air at Elijah's cryptic words.

"What are you getting at?" My heart pounded loudly in my ears.

"Don't you think you're putting the twins in danger?" I frowned.

"I think we're stepping on some dangerous territory here, why don't you spell out what you want from me in simple words." I told them holding back my anger.

"Leave," I stared at Damian in hot rage. "Excuse me? What did you just say?"

"You're only causing problems."

I stood rubbing my temples. "So you are telling me, after we've been living together for over a year, and have had children for six months that you want me to leave!?" I demanded furious.

I took a deep breath and looked at Jace, he wouldn't meet my eyes. "What's really going on? Did something happen after I left?" I asked gently.

"Echo, life would be so much better for you if you didn't constantly try to fix broken things," Logan told me cooley.

I shook my head and and turned to go upstairs. Guess I'm sleeping alone tonight.

I turned as someone grabbed my wrist.

"Echo..." I shook my head pulling free from Jace.

"No, in fact, if you really think I should leave I will, even tonight if you're that desperate. But just know the second I walk out that door I'm taking the twins with me."

I stormed up the stairs and ran into the twins room needing to see them even if they were sound asleep.

I moved to Theo's bed, his blue eyes were wide open. "You were listening weren't you? You're supposed to be asleep, don't listen in again it's not good for you." I scolded.

He reached for me and I held him gently. "I'm sorry if mommy and daddy's kept you awake. We weren't really fighting, just a loud discussion."

Theo rolled his eyes and held onto my fingers tightly. "I'm not going anywhere." I promised softly.

He smiled at me making a gasp escape my lips.

"Alright, time for bed," I laid down and walked back to my room quietly.

I stripped and climbed in bed, I laid there awake the rest of the night, when morning came I walked to the twins room.

"Mommy!" I smiled tightly at Mia and picked her up, I moved over to Theo. He was still sound asleep.

I walked quietly down the stairs and looked at the clock, it was only six.

"I'm going to get your bottle ready," I told Mia and set her on the floor. I hummed while a finished preparing Mia's formula and picked her up so I could feed her.

I sat on the couch and placed the bottle to her lips yawning.

I leaned back cradling Mia carefully and thought of the past few days.

I shook my head and grabbed my phone scrolling through Elijah's wattpad.

I winced when my phone began ringing, I answered not bothering to see who it was.

"Hello?"

"Good morning Echo," I blinked.

"Who is this?" I asked confused.

The man on the other end chuckled. "How do you not recognize my voice? Honestly I'm offended little one,"

I ran through my head all the different possibilities, I couldn't think of anyone that would call me... unless,

"Rachael?" I whispered shivering then bit my lip harshly annoyed. "How the fuck did you get my number?" Mia looked up at me then quickly turned back to her bottle.

He laughed. "Darling you know I have my ways to get anything and everything I want,"

Calm down Echo, you have no reason to be afraid, he has no clue where you are...

"Yeah whatever Raph, I'm hanging up, go stalk someone else."

I closed my phone and threw it onto the other couch. "All done," Mia whispered and pulled away from her bottle.

I placed it on the side table and turned Mia in my lap so I could see her face. "How are you baby?" I asked her gently.

She frowned. "Where daddy?"

I hesitated. "Daddy is still sleeping,"

I stroked her hair. I loved her so much, but maybe they were right... was staying with the twins selfish?

If death did in fact want Mia and I for whatever reason, he would also want the guys right?

So we're all putting them in danger, not just me...

"I love you so much." I told Mia kissing her head. 

She giggled hugging me. "Mia wuvs mommy too!"

"Echo," I didn't turn at Logan's voice, my heart ached.

Any other morning I would have rushed into his arms.

I heard Logan move closer to me from behind. He reached down and I watched his hands wrap around Mia pulling her off my lap.

Can you hear the sound of my heart shattering into a million pieces?

I stood and found myself walking outside for fresh air ignoring Mia's shout for me.

"Damnit, that fucking asshole," I cursed walking down the road for a short walk.

After awhile I turned back and moved back to the house. "Echo, do you know where Jonathan is?"

As much As I want to ignore Jace, this could be important.

"No, I haven't seen him, why?" Jace's face fell.

"Because he's not in the house, I've looked everywhere."

I rubbed my head having trouble comprehending what was happening. "Alright, well, when was the last time you talked to him?"

Jace hesitated. "Last night, right before you came home..."

I walked into the house and grabbed my phone. "What are you going to do?" Jace asked sounding wary.

"I'm doing what we do anytime one of us fuck up, I'm calling Quinn."
