Seems to be a pretty Off day

We all walk outside to see all the bikes. I see El go on Will's bike instead of Mike's this time. She always went with Mike so I was gonna let her go with him. Everyone gets on the bikes but I just stay there.
Mike- Sev?
He looks back at me
Me- huh? Yeah?
Dustin- me or Mike?
Lucas- oooooohhhhh now she's gotta choseeeeeeeeee
Lucas seems like he is going to explode
Will- what do you mean? She always went with Dustin the past few times we rode. Why Mike?
Lucas- causseeeee her and Dustin had a thing but now her and Mi
Mike and Dustin says at the same time
Mike- don't you DARE say the rest
Dustin- Don't you DARE say the rest
El- what do you mean?
Me- I have to chose?
Lucas- yessss
Bouncing up and down
Will- why?
Mike- shut up, Lucas
Dustin- why does she have to chose?
Lucas- cause I can tell that she doesn't want to hurt one of your feelings and she's gonna have a hard time figuring it out
El- how do you know?
Lucas- I'm going to spare everyone some time here so Sev come with me
Dustin- ohh someone finally warming up to Sev?
Lucas- no just it's gonna be annoying when she doesn't know who to pick
Will- wait why does she need to pick? Why wouldn't she know who to pick? It's just a bike
Mike- what would Max say?
Lucas- don't fucking bring Max into this. I'm trying to save you and Dustin
Mike- fine
Mike says a little sad though
Me- alright
I go onto Lucas' bike. We all start riding to go to Will's house. After awhile of riding, we get to his house. We walk up to the door and leave the bikes on the ground. Will gets some keys and open the door.
Will- mom the party is here!
Joyce comes out from the kitchen.
Joyce- hey Sev
She smiles and waved at me
Me- hi Joyce
Why did she only say hi to me?
Joyce- I'm sure you are all hungry, right?
Dustin- oh yes! You read our minds
Me- she has powers too?
Lucas- no it's just a saying. Like if someone says something you were just thinking
Dustin- you ARE warming up to Sev haha
Lucas- shut it. I want to prove I'm not the mean one jeez
El- Lucas that probably won't ever change
Will- even when Max is here, you're still mean
Lucas- that's just how she is too so
Mike- cmon guys like of course, it's meant to be
Joyce goes back into the kitchen
Joyce- everyone sit at the table, food is already ready
She already knew we were coming for food? I smell the air and OH MY! It smells go good! I've never smelled it before. I run to the kitchen to Joyce to see the great smelling food. I see a whole plates of stuff
Joyce- hey Sev. You smelled the food? Haha
Me- yeah it smells so great! What is all this?
Joyce- I made some lasagna, ordered buffalo wings, a salad, chicken nuggets and I made some pasta
Me- why so much? I'm not complaining cause wow this smells amazing and I'm sure it will taste amazing
Joyce- haha aw thank you. Another sweet kid to appreciate my cooking
She smiles while turning off the "stove" the one like Nancy used for the pancakes this morning
Me- do you need help with anything?
Joyce- you sure?
Me- yeah! You made all this for us, nicest and good thing to do is to at least help
Joyce- where did you learn your manners?
Me- a little by Nancy and the rest with the bad men
My face expression drops..
Joyce- bad men? Like the people who took El?
Me- yeah.. even though we were into the system they still wanted us to treat and serve some bad men there
Joyce- oh.. that kind of make sense, I guess? Well can you set out stuff on the table?
Me- ok and how do I do that?
Joyce- get plates, cups, napkins, forks and knives
She points to each thing she said so I knew what to get of what it looks like while I grab them
Joyce- just give everyone one of each and let them get napkins
Me- ok
I carry all the stuff in my hands and some levitating with my powers and go to the room with a table with some chairs around it. I set down one of each thing I had except the napkins and put them in the middle of the table.
Me- guys come over here to eat!
They all start coming into the room, sit on the seats around the table. I see Joyce comes in with plates of food
Me- want me to get the rest on the table too?
Joyce- it would be a help thank you, Sev
Me- ok
I go to the kitchen to get the rest of the food when I hear someone say my name. I hide behind the corner of the kitchen that goes into that room they were all in.
Joyce- guys, Sev is so sweet
Lucas- yeah I think Mike can say that too, but he'll say it in a... different way
Mike- dude! Do you want me to die?!
Dustin- that didn't sound right, Lucas.
Will- what do you mean though?
El- has he tasted Sev? Is that what you're saying Lucas?
Dustin- woah ew
Lucas- no he hasn't. I would know because he's my best friend. Right Mikey?
Mike- don't EVER call me that
Joyce- so how's Sev doing? Haven't seen her in like two days or so.
Dustin- she's learned A LOT
Joyce- ok guys dig in. We can talk and eat but start eating before it gets cold
I hear them getting the food. I want to give them the rest of this food but I'm just curious of what they will say
El- the bad men put a chip in her so she won't know, learn or understand feelings or emotions. So the other night, she felt something. Mike brought her to us and she was crying in pain. I took the chip out and she bled. When we tried to know what she was going to say something she screamed and passed out. When I saw her again, she was understanding all of your language better
Joyce- wow. Wait a chip put her in pain because she was feeling feelings?
Lucas- yeah and she wouldn't shut up
Will- Lucas be nice. You were JUST warming up to her
I hear Will say with a mouth full of food I bet haha
Joyce- Mike?
The room goes silent. Was Mike ok? He didn't respond. I think I should come out from hiding to bring their food. I turn the corner, realizing I end up using my powers to lift the food, and everyone looks at me besides Mike. He's just staring at a seat that was empty in front of him.
Me- sorry it took me awhile
Joyce- it's alright just set it down and start eating
I sit down at the empty seat Mike was staring at. I put the food onto the table. I look at everyone eating
Will- it's ok Sev
Dustin- you can eat whatever you want on this table
Lucas- it was made for us after all
I smile looking at the good looking food. I take some of those "buffalo wings" and cut a small piece of the "lasagna" and put them into my plate in front of me. I look at Mike's plate. It had some buffalo wings and "chicken nuggets". I rub my foot up and down Mile's leg to snap out of whatever he was in. I look at him and notices his face going pink and he breathes out a couple of times before looking up at me into my eyes. He kinda bites his lips a little as I bring my leg a little higher and feel my own face heat up
Mike- Ahem
I start eating my food like I did not do anything.
Lucas- what?
Mike- oh uh nothing?
Dustin- well whatever it is, don't worry about it. Just eat dude
El- it was probably nothing, Mike. You were out of it and maybe just came back to reality
Mike- right, yea heh
We all start eating. And OH YES THE FOOD WAS GREAT! I ate everything off my plate. After everyone got done eating, Joyce got everyone's plates and washed them in the kitchen.
El- how was everyone's day?
Will- mines was with you all day haha
I see El smile while looking down.
Lucas- me and Dustin watched a movie, ate a lot of food, and saw Steve
Mike- Steve?
Dustin- yeah! He was showing us some cool tricks and stuff
Lucas- he is pretty cool
Mike- ready for school?
Will- is Sev coming with us?
El- no.. she would need to catch up
Mike- Nancy said she'll teach her how to write, erase and basic stuff. But she will start with simple stuff then make her way up
Dustin- well she learned a lot with the few days she's been with us. I think she'll go through it quick
Will- she seems like a fast learner from everything she's learned with us
El- why does she need to go to school?
Lucas- so she can have a life. El, why do you seem so doubtful?
Does El not want me to go to school? Why not? I have to learn like she did
Me- it's alright, El. You don't need to care about me
I sit up and walk to Joyce in the kitchen
Joyce- hey Sev
Me- does El not want me to do school?
Joyce- you'll learn and soon be with all of them
Me- what grade are they in?
Joyce- you're all 14, right?
Me- yeah El is 13 but she's still with them
Joyce- so 8th? Oooh my boy is going to graduate this year
Me- graduate?
Joyce- last year of middle school. They celebrate and well you'll know when it happens. They'll tell you all about it. I'm sure you'll pass through grades easy. I can tell you'll be a quick learner
Me- thank you. I would like to learn more about this place.
Joyce- why are you in here and not with the others?
Me- El doesn't want me to do school I think
Joyce- why not?
Me- I don't know?
Joyce- you will learn, I'm sure of it.
Me- thanks. I'm sure I'll manage
Joyce- well today is Sunday.. so tomorrow ill put you as homeschool and wait until Wednesday for you to start with the work. So you would start it on Wednesday, alright?
Me- thank you so much
I wrap my arms around her for a hug. I can tell she is surprised but soon she hugs back. We soon let go
Joyce- now where are you staying for the time?
Me- Mike's house
Joyce- does his mom know you? Or know you are there?
Me- no. She was out to take his little sister to the hospital I over heard
Joyce- oh I hope she's alright. Well you all should be heading home
Me- of course. Thank you
Joyce- no problem sweetie
