Regret

He's on the floor with blankets around him and papers all over his room. We run to him and go on the floor, all of us kneeling to him. Will puts his hand on Mike's shoulder. Mike is facing down and rocking back and forth. He's kind of creeping me out.
El- Mike? Mike look at us
She lifts his face up and his eyes are bloodshot red, and tear stains on his face.
Me- ..Mike?
Mike- where is SHE?! El did you find her?!
He holds El's arms shaking her a bit. I see her eyes widen
Lucas- bro, you ok? What happened here?
Mike stands up making the blankets fall off of him. We all stand up as well. He starts walking around his room looking at all the papers.
Mike- I tried to remember her and think what could've happened
Will- what did you come up with?
Mike- absolute shit! Nothing makes any fucking sense!
Me- Mike calm down please. Sev wouldn't want you freaking out to look for her.. she'd want you to find her and stay bright
I look into Mike's eyes. He is about to cry I can see as I mention Sev. Oh god Sev please come back soon.
Lucas- he's right, Mike..
Mike starts crying so much. I almost didn't know what to do. He pulls me to him and hugs me. I hug back because I see him hurting so much right now.
Mike- I failed her! I left her alone! I should've protected her and stayed there with her! She would've never left if I just STAYED with her!
He cries out. We all hug him. We soon all let go and he wipes his tears. I guess he noticed that he just poured out his heart as to feeling guilty for Sev's disappearance. He seems to be calming down a bit.
Mike- fine... sorry guys I don't know just I freaked out when I couldn't find her.. I... I even walked around the neighborhood to look
El- oh my god, Mike! At night?!
Mike- yeah...
Will- well we are glad you are safe.. let's get to school before we are late. We'll look for her after, ok Mike?
Mike-..... ok yeah...
I feel so bad for Mike. I feel worse that I know about her right now but he or they don't. I want to tell them but then Mike will freak out. They'll think the bad men are back. I don't think they are I think this might have to do with the upside down.. Shit! Did the gate open some how?!
Lucas- let's go
We all walk outside after Mike changes to better smelling clothes and onto our bikes. We ride to school and when we get there, I can tell Mike is upset that we aren't looking for Sev yet. We go to all our classes and every one of us were not really paying attention in the classes. After school was over, we all went to Mike's house. Nancy was there too. We all go to the basement. El and Will both sit at the table doing homework. Heh nerds. I'm kidding we all are. Lucas and Nancy are both at Mike's side on the couch. I stand just because I guess.
Lucas- so how and where do we start?
Nancy- Mike? What's wrong? You didn't tell me why you called me.. is Sev with Joyce?
Will- no..
We all at each other and Nancy looks hella confused.
Nancy- then where is she?
Mike- she's missing.... she's gone! I couldn't find her anywhere last night and El said she can't find her through her powers either
Nancy- woah... Do you any of you know where she could've gone? Even if she didn't say
Lucas- no because she doesn't know the town well so she wouldn't know anywhere to go
Nancy- maybe she walked out and maybe she's with someone?
Will- she doesn't trust easily as we all saw when we first found her
El- yeah... she only trusted me
Lucas- El, did you do something to make her leave?
El- what? Why would I?
I can tell Lucas is starting to assume and accusing El for Sev's disappearance
Lucas- I don't know maybe cause she's mostly with Mike and you're hanging out with Will more?
El- but I wouldn't do anything to her to make her leave
Will- my mom did tell me about Sev saying that El doesn't care about her going to school  Sunday night
Mike- El? Is there something you need to tell us?
El- no I do care about her just maybe she isn't ready for school
Nancy- she has to learn. If she doesn't she won't know or understand everything or anything
Me- and she'll be home by her self most of the time while we go to school
El-.... I didn't really think about that part..
Lucas- yeah...
Mike- how do we start looking for her?
Will- she could be anywhere
Me- um... guys can I say something?
Lucas- sure
I look down
Me- ....what if the gate opened again? Not the monsters coming through but something that put Sev in some random place... maybe she's stuck in just darkness.. she might not feel anything physically but she can still mind link and connect to one of us....
I look back up and everyone stares at me as if I knew something.. which I do. But they can't know. I look at Mike and he has a scared face.
Me- ...would that be possible, El?
El- but I closed it... how could it open?
Will- maybe that's how she came out from that place? Maybe her coming back to this world made the gate open again
Nancy- woah woah woah! You're saying she opened the gate when she came here and now she's is trapped in some dark place? Right?
Me- yeah...
Mike- that's so specific... Dustin, how'd you get that thought?
Me- just... I put things together. Lucas was right. Her coming here when everything was starting to get better here... she suddenly appears? Cmon Mike, isn't that some what strange?
El- yeah I guess that's true.... it could be some what possible
Mike quickly stands up
Mike- wait! That's a possibility?! She's actually trapped in some dark place? You're saying the gate has opened again?!
Lucas- we have to close it again
Me- FINALLY!
Everyone looks at me weirdly
Will- what do you mean?
Me- oh umm....
