A Deal

The rest of the week goes by pretty nice and they've been teaching me how to write and basic learning stuff they call it. They had me try new foods that all tasted really good and they asked a lot of questions about me but I didn't answer a lot for reasons. I told them my age and that I had no parents but nothing really else.
_5months go by_
I've lived with Melanie and her husband Oliver. They treated me so well and even got me into a school. Every night, I still think about everyone back in the place I learned to be called Hawkins, Indiana. I miss them so much.. I haven't talked to them since they all thought I was dead. Right now, it's a school night so I'm finishing up homework. Yes, school is a pain in the ass. Another word I learned, Melanie said it's ok to use it when appropriate so I believe saying school is a pain in the ass is appropriate cause that's the whole truth. I should probably see what's been up with the party though.. it's been awhile since I've even used much of my powers and to even see them. Maybe someone who won't really mind me coming to talk to them. Hm.. maybe that new girl that I didn't recognize when I opened that portal the day of when El and I closed the gate. Yeah, Im happy it was closed. I remember she had like an orange hair and she was close to Lucas. As I try to recognize, I feel the pull between our minds. It's been so long since I've used this power either.
Once I get her, I put her into a memory. The one I didn't really like after when I unleashed all that dark power. It was when I was burning down the lab here, I open my eyes to see a figure standing looking in front of me. As she backs up and closer to me, I see her shaking so I put my hands on her right shoulder for her to stop.
Me-Max?
Max?- Sev?
She can recognizes my voice, good start I guess
Me- Max, look at me..
Max- who did this to these men?
I don't say a word until I see her start turning around. She looks all over me. Once she gets to my eyes, I feel her tense up. Oh maybe she's seeing how I am from This memory and not how I look now. I use my water powers to put out the fire that was surrounding us. My eyes probably going back to normal since I'm using a different power. I should tell her what happened here before she tells everyone I'm a killer
Me- .... I did..
Her face turns even more pale and her eyes widen. Oh great, she's scared of me..
Max- what the hell?! Why?!
Me- these were the bad men... I stopped them before they could have me to destroy the world. I have dark powers.. they were always in me. I just never released them apparently. But enough of this, how are you all? Are you all ok? What happened? I have so many questions
Its true, I have many questions. It's been a little over 5months and she looks like she's thinking
Max- we're managing. Wait was it you who made that earthquake?
I guess using this power to talk to Max has caused an uncontrollable strength from my earth like power
Me- earthquake? You mean the ground shaking and stuff?
Max- that's what an earthquake is
She raises her voice a little but I see she calms down by something possibly
Me- yes.. when I use some of my powers, another power can start to form sometimes...Did it cause any trouble?
Max- well things were shaking and falling off but nothing really damaged I think
Me- good and sorry about it. So what happened over there after we closed the gate?
Max-... you happily closed the gate. But after that Joyce, Jonathan, Steve and Nancy has to carry Lucas, Mike, El, and I with Dustin and will to Will's house. When we woke up, Lucas and Will argued. Mike left home because he didn't want to be there so he went home...
Ok so nothing too bad so far
Me- ... so I know I've been gone for 5months
Max- how?? It's only been a week..Wait so where are you?!
Me- Well this is just a memory of mine so I could get to talk to you but I'm actually in North Carolina, you jus literally walked into my memory su for you, you're from your time and I'm in mine
Max- that's kinda cool I mean wait but that's so far from Indiana. So how am I gonna get back?
I feel my face turn sad because I wish I could go with her.. go back to everyone. But I can't and I guess she realizes what she said
Max- well how are WE gonna get back?
Me- I can make a portal for you to get back..
Max- what about you? I can't NOT take you back. Everyone will get so mad at me that I wouldn't bring you back if they know I saw you
Me- so then don't tell them
She looks at me like I was weird for saying that. I mean they won't be mad if they don't find out she had this opportunity for me and I.. turned it down, they'll be mad at both of us if they knew so let them not know
Me- I want to... I want to get better. I want to learn more, get a family to take care of me so I can go to school and be more normal. So when I go back... I'll have better knowledgeable and I'll know more with you all again. So I'll stay here for awhile more
Max- no no no! You have to come back!
I hear the panic in her voice and she gives me a sad look but this is the best way
Me- what about this? I take you back and I stay here longer. And until I learn everything and close to finish school, I'll go back. I'll still mind link to you every once and awhile while you tell me what's been going with you all. But you can't tell them you still talk to me and you saw me right now, is that a deal?
