I push Lucas, Max and Mike back to the wall with my powers and throw Sev the bottle. The ground starts shaking. It feels like everything just turned in slow motion. I don't care about the fire so I start to run towards Sev through her portal. Every noise starts fading as I hear Sev yell as she stands up and opens the bottle. She drops the cap of the bottle carelessly and runs towards the gate. I run after her as fast as I can but everything I see and hear is all slow motion. She falls onto her knees and I can tell she knows what she's sacrificing. She looks back at me and I can feel myself crying along with my heart racing. She looks down and at the gate. I am so close just a little more but as she lifts her right arm, she throws the green liquid onto the gate. As she throws the potion the gate starts glowing bright. Like if the sun was coming through the gate. I finally get to Sev and fall on my knees to cover her from the gate. As I touched her, a strong force pushed me back and I see black. After awhile I quickly open my eyes and see everyone from the party, Joyce, Jonathan, Steve and Nancy around me. I sit up and look around. I'm at.. Joyce's house? I'm on Will's bed.
Me- what happened? Where's Sev?
I put my hand on the back of my head because I feel pain.
I see them all look at each other with worried faces. But I notice something. Mike wasn't around me like everyone else
Me- where's Mike?
Nancy- ..he went back home...
Me- oh.. what happened?
