The truth

We all start walking into the woods. We walk left, right, back, forth, around and around. We feel like we've searched everywhere. But we didn't find El or Mike. The sun is gone. It is very dark in these woods. They all turn on the flashlights and we all get closer because it was dark and who knows what dangers can be in here still.
Lucas- we've searched everywhere
Dustin- well maybe not all of it?
Will- it's very dark out
Jonathan- we'll find them. Let's go take a break from walking
We all stopped. I heard voices. Maybe it was Mike and El? I looked at the group and back to where the voices where coming from. I walked to the "voices". I saw a light source. And I saw them. It was Mike and El. I was going to run to them but thought "what are they talking about?"
Mike- El...?
El- yeah Mike?
Mike- do you know where we are?
El- wait. You mean we are lost?
Mike- no well kinda but do you know what this place is?
El- no.. not really, why?
Mike- this is where we first met...
El- oh.. right.
Mike- ....
I see them just talking about stuff but I couldn't make out what they were saying because they walked towards a different area but I could still see them. I felt something coming towards me. I quickly turned around and hold my hands to defend.
Dustin- woah calm down
Me- shhh
I put my index finger in front of my mouth. I guess he got the message.
Dustin- oh ok. Guys come here. We found them
He yelled but as whisper. They all come to us. We were all behind a bush.
Nancy- why are we just standing here?
Lucas- because maybe he doesn't want us here for this
Will- what are they saying?
Dustin- Sev, can't you use your powers to mind read?
Me- how did you know?
Dustin- Mike told us some of your powers when you left with Will
Lucas- oh right yeah!
Me- but I don't want to invade his privacy..
Will- well we need to know what they are saying
Me- but it's invading his privacy
Nancy- you have to, Sev
Jonathan- well just know what he is thinking right now
Me- but
Lucas- just fucking do it!
Lucas kinda yelled it at me but as a loud whisper. Should I? But he liked it that I didn't invade his mind.
Dustin- we have to know what he's gonna do. Because if she gets mad, she'll go all out
I started to feel water run down my face again. It was like that pain in my stomach last night but instead it's my heart and head that hurts.
Lucas- she's crying
As he turns around, seeming frustrated
Nancy- Sev, this can cause us to separate if she leaves. We need to know what's gonna happen
Me- I'll... do it
I was really crying? I concentrated on getting in Mike's mind. I wanted to warn him first. So I brought him to a room. Just a dark room around us that was endless. He looks around confused.
Mike- what?! Where am I?
He notices I was standing facing the opposite way from him.
Mike- Savanna? What is happening? Where are we?
Me- Mike... I have to go in your mind..
Mike- what?! Why?
Me- we are all worried if El might do something if you tell her something she does not want to hear..
Mike- woah woah woah what do you mean? How did you find me?
Me- it took most of all day but... look I don't want to do this... so
Mike- wait do what?
Me- ... I'll link their minds to be in your mind. I won't look into your mind. I'm not invading your privacy. But they asked me to
Mike- wait who's they?! And what?!
Me- sorry?
Mike- you're saying sorry?
Me- yes?
Mike- what do you think it means?
Me- sorry is to apologize for something that was done wrong. Sorry is something I did not want to do but was told or had to...
I started crying again. I can feel Mike looking at me worried.
Mike- Sev?
Me- Mike... I don't want to hurt El
Mike- you are not hurting El. This is my choice and decision
Me- but I put it in your head
Mike- no you didn't.. I was thinking about it and when we talked about it.. I knew I had to do it now or never. And if never, I can't keep pretending..
Me- Mike
I started crying more and more. I don't know why I was crying so much. I did not want to see El hurt. She's like my family.
Mike- it will be alright
He turned me over to see him. He put his hand on my cheek. Started rubbing his thumb on my cheek. Looking at me with a little smile to the side but it wasn't a smirk. At this moment everything seems alright
Me- .... okay
I took us out of the place. Everyone looked at me. I tried to focus very hard to get all of them to get into Mike's mind. Awhile, they were in his mind for awhile. I walked around, sneaking  tree to tree. I walked towards where Mike and El was talking.
Mike- El... I need to tell you something before we continue this...
El- ok what's the matter?
Mike- El... ya know how we've been kind of together?
El- yeah
I saw El smile..
Mike- I know you.. like like me but I don't like... like you back
I could tell he hesitated while he said that
El- wah? Wait... um what?
Mike- I... do not... like like... you.. anymore
El- wait so you don't like like me? Anymore?
Her face went serious and her eyes widen.. I could see she was processing the situation
Mike- I am so so sorry, El. I just couldn't keep pretending. And if I keep this going longer the worse it would be.
El- is this why we don't do anything more than kiss?!
She raised her voice a little
Mike- El please calm down.. but yes that's why
El- don't tell me to calm down! Why didn't you tell me as soon?!
Mike- I didn't want to hurt you
El- Mike! You don't think I'm hurt right now?!
Mike- yes.. but just calm down and just process this please
El- Mike... what are you saying? Are we not friends anymore?
Mike- yes of course we can be friends. I do care about you and I do not want you to leave. Please
El- you care about me? In what way?
Mike- as my friend, El
El- why shouldn't I leave? You were the reason why I stayed here and I came back just for you
Mike- El stay please..
El- .... fine
Mike- I'll understand if you're mad and you won't talk to me for awhile but just stick around
El- but why now? Does anyone else know?
Mike- ....
Mike stayed quiet. El walked back and forth for awhile. I felt really worried for what's going on in El's mind right now. I took Nancy, Jonathan, Lucas, Dustin and Will out of Mike's mind. I heard Nancy gasp from exiting Mike's mind. I ran back to them.
Me- we should go...
Nancy- wow that was... I didn't know he was thinking about all that if he ever told El that
Jonathan- cmon we should head back before they do
Lucas- yeah but damn. I had a hard time even to keep up in his mind.
Dustin- yeah so many thoughts at once
Will- Sev, did you go in his mind too?
Me- no... I don't invade his privacy.
Jonathan- he.. said some stuff about you too, Sev
Nancy- a lot of things
Dustin- don't worry. They were good things. Not bad
Me- let's go please
We all tried to get out of the woods. Soon enough we got to the car and got to Mike's and Nancy's house. We all headed downstairs to the basement. Jonathan, Nancy and Will sat at the table. Dustin and Lucas sat on the couch. I stayed under the fort, thinking. Awhile past. Mike and El both came. El walked to me and got under the fort with me. Mike sat on a sofa that was for one person to sit in. Everyone was silent. The room was quiet.
Nancy- sooo
Nancy broke the silence.
Me- El? Can we talk... outside?
El- alright
El went outside. Mike looked at me in the eyes. I looked down. I walked outside to El
El- what did you want to talk about?
Me- El...
El- what?
I wrapped my arms around her. I think this was a hug. I just tried to do what Mike did earlier.
El- Sev?
Me- I think this is a hug
El- why are you hugging me?
Me- it's alright, El. I know what happened and it's alright. I'm here for you
El- Sev... it kind of hurts
I let go. She said kind of? That doesn't mean she's fully hurt
Me- kind of?
El- Mike hasn't done anything more than us of to kiss... I always questioned it. I did think he would do this. We are not like Nancy or Jonathan. I did like like him... but he did not like like me back anymore.
Me- El... well remember I'm always here for you. If you ever need to talk.. I'm here
El- why do you... sound normal?
Me- last night.. when I apparently passed out. A bunch of words came into my vision. Now I understand words a little better..
El- oh that's good. You are learning.
Me- yes I am... El you are like family to me. No matter what, will you always stay with me?
El- not always I'll be next to you but I will in your heart and mind
Me- ok...
El- let's um go back heh
Me- alright
El and I walks back to everyone. El goes under the fort. Just doing her own thing. Dustin and Lucas are still on the couch talking. Nancy, Jonathan and Will are also talking at the table. Mike. He was just non verbal. No talking or any action. He is just looking down. I notice his face. Has a worry or sad expression. I walk over to Mike. I see El looking up at me walking to Mike. But she looks back down.
