The new group

The girl to sit down next to me has light caramel skin with dark brown curly hair that goes a little below her shoulders and wearing black glasses over her brown eyes; wearing a red long sleeved shirt with a cartoon Batman, who I learned from a few comics I've seen, on it even though I see some of her black thinner shirt under with a pair of light blue jeans and red shoes that are branded Converse. She comes up to me with the rest following her. Her name is

I look at all the girls and they all look pretty, who am I kidding? They look pretty everyday
The girl with light fair skin, curly brown hair that has light brown on top but her hair is really short a little like El with a grey hat covering most of her hair anyway and she was wearing red and dark blue plaid button down shirt with dark blue jeans, and brown boots. The last light skin girl with a dark red hat on top of her black hair that almost goes above her icy blue eyes that made her dark red lipstick pop from her fair skin, wearing a black short shirt with a pattern on the top with also a dark red skirt that goes to her thighs to match her lipstick and hat, and with white converses. She sits next on the opposite side, next to Grace, and her name

We all laugh and start eating our lunch. I remember first meeting them all
FLASHBACK
I was sitting alone in the corner table in the lunch room on my 6th day of school. It's been pretty alright but lonely to have no one to talk to for the long 8hrs in school. I soon feel people come up to me and stand there. I look up at them seeing a group of 4 girls that look completely different from each other
???- hey um can we sit with you? My name is Natalia
Oh people to sit with me? I look at each of them and just stare
Another girl says
???- maybe she doesn't? Maybe we were wrong??
But another girl says
???- see but she's independent then
Natalia- but she's cool for that right guys?
The girls behind her nod
Me- I'm sorry but can I get the rest of your names, this is new to me so
???- oh I'm Kai
The girl that called me independent says
???- I'm Grace
???- and Jesse
Me- well nice to meet you all. I'm Savannah but is there anything you want from me?
I'm jus curious why they're talking to me. Maybe they want another friend?? Who knows? Cause I know I don't know anything
Natalia- so can we sit with you?
Me- um.. yeah sure
Kai- thanks
Grace- so how long have you been here?
Me- uhh, 5months, how about you guys?
Jesse- same, where'd you come from?
Grace- Jesse, way to get into her personal life
Natalia- Sorry, we just wanna get to know you that's all
Me- heh well thanks. No one has made a effort to even talk to me here
Kai- that's alright, now it's us
I smile just thinking of these girls being people I could get used to
Me- what class do you guys have next?
Grace- science with Kai and Jesse
Natalia- and I have math alone
Me- so do I, who's your teacher?
Natalia- uhhm I think it was Ms. Kenny
Me- oh so do I, I haven't seen you in class yet but maybe cause I only stare at the board, we can walk there together ya know, if you want
Natalia- really?! Oh my god thank you, these girls all leaving me but now I have you in my class
Kai- hey we know we just met you but do you maybe wanna hang out with us today after school?
Would Mel and Olly be ok with this? How can I ask them now? I can't use my powers so I guess I'll ask Mel when she picks me up
Me- when and where?
Natalia- around 4pm, at the park down the street, if that's fine with you
Me- yeah I would love to, I just have to ask Melanie if I can
Grace- is she your sister?
Me- no
Jesse- mom? Or step mom?
Me- she's just someone who's been taking care of me since I came
Kai- so did you leave your parents?
Parents.. they just left me because of who I was.. I won't even call them my parents
Me- .. I never had parents
Natalia- of course you have parents, it's how you were born
Me- I don't know them and I wouldn't want to so I don't care
Kai- we get it, we're all orphans too
Me- orphan?
Grace- yea, are you not?
Me- I'm not big on family much so
Natalia- oh that's fine, you don't need to share
The bell for lunch to be over rings
Kai- well then nice meeting you Savannah, we hope to see you after school if you can make it
Grace- yeah definitely
Me- mhm
The girls wave to me as they leave and Natalia stays with me
Natalia- well then let's goo
She drags me by the arm as I pick up my bag again while we head to class. This is all new too. No one has talked to me since I came to the school. All of a sudden these girls show up wanting to hang out? They all seem nice and completely like different people which makes me wonder how are they all friends. We get to the class and get ready in our seats for the teacher to begin. I hope Mel says I can hang out with them, they seem nice enough to be around. But I just hope they don't turn out bad.. because if so then I may never trust people again
SKIIIIP AFTER SCHOOL
As the bell rings after my last class, I grab my bag and walk to the front of the school for Melanie to pick me up. It's already 3:10pm so I have time before the hang out later.. if I can go. I see her low light grey car pull up to the front and it stops. I walk towards the car to open the door and head in from the back. I see Melanie's still in her work clothes
Melanie- how was school today sweetie?
Me- it was good. A group of girls talked to me today too
Melanie- really? That's so great
She starts the car again and starts driving home
Me- yeah and they asked for me to hang out with them after school, so can I?
Melanie- I'll have to give Olly a call but I don't see a reason not to. You've been great and doing your school work well with our help, maybe the girls can help you study as well
Me- maybe, I didn't even think of that
Melanie- well let's feed you first and then we'll give him a call, alright?
Me- cool, thank youuu
She smiles brightly with her nice teeth in the mirror so I can see her which makes me smile and look out the window. That's become my thing for some reason
