Max's POV
It's been only one week since Sev left and it's Christmas Eve. Ever since school is out for the holidays, we haven't seen Mike. One time I tried to go over his house to see how he was doing but Nancy would tell me to leave because he hasn't been feeling good. I heard stuff being thrown from upstairs from downstairs, so I left to give him space. At home, Billy was having blast party since we got back. Even my parents aren't home for the holidays.. The party and I weren't always every second of the day with each other like we did before since Sev left. We still hung out a lot but at night I knew everyone did the same as me. Which was just bored at home with nothing going on. Today was just the day before Christmas morning. All day I've been having a weird feeling. Like something was happening but I don't know where it was or anything. I ignored it until the party and I all rode our bikes to Will's house. I just have this feeling of something isn't the same
Will- hey mom the party is here
Joyce walks in to us in the living room from the kitchen. But she looks sick in a way and not full of energy
Joyce- hey guys..
Will- mom? Are you ok?
Will has a worried tone and walking up to his mom
Dustin- why don't you lay down
Dustin and will help Joyce sit down on the couch as she seems to be weakened. We all surround her around the couch
Joyce- I don't know I just have a weird feeling I guess, it's probably nothing serious
El- me too though.. it's weird
Lucas- you too? So have I
Dustin- yeah
Mike- same
Me- so do I... why are we all feeling the same weird all of a sudden?
Will- I don't know, I've been fine today but I already don't like this
El- have you all felt it all day, too?
We all nod except for Will and look at each other confused
Mike- what could be happening?
Dustin- maybe we are just hungry? We didn't eat lunch today so
Lucas- but Joyce did you eat?
Joyce- yeah
Will- so it's not cause we are all hungry
Joyce- why didn't you all eat lunch?
We all look down and think to ourselves. I didn't eat because Billy wasted all the snacks and food. But it's fine I can just buy something from the diner. But what are they thinking about? Do we all have some reason that we didn't wanna eat? Well of course we do.. El and Mike probably miss the hell of Sev and Dustin might be struggling with another little fight with Steve. Will, well because his own caution from the past 2years since ya know that crap isn't going to just go away. His mom and brother are great but his mom is dealing with making sure his father doesn't come back to them and Jonathan is called a freak and a creep around town and it isn't getting any better by dating Nancy. But what about Lucas? What's he really going through? Well he's trying to be here for Mike and El and he does know about my household. He's trying to keep us together and care about all of us. He's just really sweet, or ya know whatever pft
El- something doesn't feel right...
All of a sudden, the ground starts shaking.
Dustin- EARTHQUAKE!
We all group hug. Some stuff started falling but not like the roof or walls which was a good thing. If they fell, we all could've been hurt bad. I start to feel something pulling in my head. I let go of the group hug and open the front door. I hear fading of everyone else yelling my name while I start walking outside. The sky is all dark and cloudy. Rain starts to pour and hits my body as I walk towards the border of forest. Its like I was in a trance, not really knowing why I'm walking WITH A FREAKING EARTHQUAKE?! look back at the house and everyone there yelling my name to come back as they stand at the doorway scared from the earthquake and the beaming lightning starting to come down as well. I feel a force into my head. My visions starts getting blurry into another weird place. All I see is myself into this white and baby blue walls down three hallways. I turn around and to see what seems about hundreds of men... dead?! My breathing starts to speed up. As smoke came into my vision, noticing it's fire around the halls. Where the am I?! What the fuck happened here?!! I slowly walk carefully backwards actually scared of whatever happened here that all these men are dead! I stop by two hands on my shoulders. Sending shivers down my spine to even look behind me. I suddenly hear a different voice. Not anyone from the party but it seems like
Sev?- Max?
