A day with Joyce and powers

I hear the door unlocking and I turn at the door. It opens to revealing a very tired looking Joyce. She rubs her eyes to see me and Mike standing there
Joyce- Mike? Savanna? What are you two doing here? It's so early
Mike- I wanted to bring Sev and see if you can take her to work with you while me and Will go to school. She can't stay home because she'll be alone. So can she stay with you?
Joyce- oh sure of course. Come in you two
She moves to the side. Mike and I walk in, I walk towards the couch and I sit on it, leaning back into it because I'm tired. Joyce closes the door and walks to the kitchen.
Joyce- so should I wake up Will for him to get ready for you guys to leave?
Mike- yeah that'd be good. Thanks Mrs. Buyers
Joyce walks down a hall and opens a door. She walks in the room, she disappears.
Mike- you can sleep in Will's room once he gets up
Me- but that's his bed, why?
Mike- because it's better than that couch
Me- fine but I'll ask to make sure if he's ok with it
Mike- alright
I see Will come over to us with his "pajamas" and looks also very tired
Will- dude, why are you here early than usual?
Mike- because I had to get Sev ready and let her stay here with your mom and for her to go to work with your mom
Will- alright but still. You really had to wake me up to go to school
Mike- well I had to wake up Sev but I thought it'd be worse than how she woke up so
Me- Will?
Will- yeah?
He turns his head to me
Me- I don't want to be a burden but can I sleep in your bed? Im just tired because he woke me up so
Will- sure that's fine. I know Mike is so annoying
Me- haha some times
Mike- hey!
Will- well I'm gonna get ready so I'll be right back
Will walks back to his room and closes the door. Joyce comes back to Mike and I
Joyce- do you guys want breakfast?
Me- no thank you
Mike- can I just have cereal?
Joyce- sure
Mike and Joyce both walk to the kitchen. It's too early for this. I just want to sleep more. Soon, Will comes back with different clothes on.
Will- bye mom
Joyce- be careful, bye
Mike- bye Sev
He gives me a kiss on my cheek and then he and Will are about to walk out the door. Will walks out and as Mike was about to leave too I call him
Me- Mike?
Mike- yeah? You ok?
I stand up and walk up to him tiredly with my eyes almost closed. I hug him and he hugs back. I lay my head on his shoulder my eyes start feeling so heavy. He pulls away from the hug and holds my head with his hands and looks at me.
Mike- hey! Sev! Go back and sleep
Me- yeah good idea
He gives me another kiss on top of my head while I smile at his actions and he turns me around while he laughs at I guess how sleepy I seem. He closes the door and he leaves. I see Joyce in the kitchen still, eating from a bowl
Joyce- are you sure you don't want to eat?
Me- no I'm fine
I walk to Will's room. His room has papers along his walls, most toys just like Mike, his bed next to a small table next to it. His room is smaller than Mike's but I don't really care about it. I go to sit on Will's bed and lay my whole body down. As I sink onto his bed, I close my eyes. I see just the dark calmness again. I open my eyes to see Joyce next to me with a smile
Joyce- heh good you're up. You slept on Will's bed?
Me- he said it was ok.
Joyce- oh that's fine. I just haven't had anyone else in this bed. He's always been in this bed, no one else beside me or Jonathan..
Me- oh.. so since you woke me up, does that mean we have to go to your work?
Joyce- yes heh.. we have to get going
Me- ok
I sit up and Joyce and I walk out of the house. We walk to her car. I open the door to the back seat. I sit on the seat and close the door as Joyce opens the door and also sits down and close the door. She started the car and drives out of the sight of her house. We end up in the streets and I see a lot of buildings. We get to one building and she pulls up in front of it. Me and Joyce get out the car and walk into the building. A man comes up to her.
Man- hey Joyce, who's this?
Joyce- this is Savanna. My uh niece
Niece? What's a "niece"?
Man- well hello Savanna. Is she gonna help you out for today or is she just gonna stand around
Joyce- um she can help me out with some stuff.
Man- ok well you guys can start in the back room
Joyce- alright, cool boss haha
The man walks away
Me- boss?
Joyce- he is in charge and gives me orders. But let's go to the back
We walk to a room in the back of the building as Joyce talks to someone on a thing she put towards her ear. After that she says
Joyce- I called the school and they said they'll set up work for you, so you can start on Wednesday.
Joyce and I spend a lot of time in the back room sorting out things. I use my powers to help. At the same time, she tells me stories about the boys and how long they've all known each other. She also talks about the school work I'll be doing until I make my way up to the rest of the party. I walk out the room and see the front of the building has a window. I see the light of a "orange" color I remember Mike showed me the color last night. I go back to Joyce and she says
Joyce- phew! That was a lot of working out today, huh?
She looks at her wrist, I see she has something on her wrist
Joyce- it's almost 6pm. We should go home, they are all most likely home.
Me- they are out of school? Wow time passed fast
Joyce- yeah. Ok let's go
Joyce and I go in the car and arrive back to her house. We get into the house and see the whole party there. Everyone looks at us and Mike rushes up to me and hugs me
Mike- hey. How were you?
Me- I helped Joyce with her work. I didn't noticed a lot of time we just worked.
Lucas- seems like Joyce made you do a lot haha
Dustin- how was your day, Sev?
Me- good but kind of tired from all the powers I used
El- you used your powers?!
Me- just levitating
El- how much of it? How long were you working of using it?
Joyce- we started at 10am and just stopped like before 5pm
Will- that's almost complete 8hours
Mike- is using her powers long bad, El?
El- yes! Sev, where were you bleeding?
Me- what do you mean? Not my nose or ears
I know what she means but strangely I couldn't feel any blood coming out.
El- Sev take off your shirt!
Lucas- um! Woah! El, she can't just take off her shirt right in front of 4 guys
El- but she should be bleeding somewhere
Mike- she could be bleeding?! What?! How?
Me- if I use my powers longer than usual I bleed in different places other than my nose or ears
Dustin- so where could she bleed?
Everyone stands around me besides Joyce. They all look around me. I see Will in front i me looking at my stomach
Will- um guys?
All- yeah?
Will- I think I found where she's bleeding
They all go closer to Will and look at my stomach. El lifts up my shirt a little and I look down to see the blood too.
Mike- oh my god!
Lucas- that's the same area where El took out that chip
Dustin- you're right
El- Joyce can you get me a wet towel?
Joyce- yes of course
Joyce walks away. Mike and El look back up to me while Lucas, Dustin and Will still see my bleeding cut.
El- what were you thinking?! You know you bleed more when you use you powers too long
Me- ....
She was right. I did know but I just didn't really care or noticed I was even bleeding. I didn't even feel it until they lifted my shirt up. I see Mike and El's faces are both worried but mad at the same time
Mike- you have to be careful, Sev!
Me- I'm sorry.. I didn't notice. And if I can be honest, I didn't really care either
Joyce comes back and hands El a wet towel. El puts the wet towel on my cut and it was very cold and making the cut sting a little. I close my eyes hard and try to ignore the pain. Once the stinging went away and bleeding, she took it off of me.
Dustin- so can Sev come to our school yet or no?
Joyce- oh right. I have to go to the school and put her into the system. I'll be back by around 8pm or some time a little after but Will don't miss your curfew and everyone should go home soon
Will- ok mom also where's Jonathan?
Joyce- he said he's on a road trip with Nancy and Steve for the next two days so
Mike- Nancy didn't tell me
Joyce leaves
