Hidden scars

Soon, I feel someone shaking my shoulder. I open one eye to see, it's Mike. He looks very tired at his eyes and his whole face just looks tired.
Mike- wake up, Sev
Me- hmm?
I turn over to see the window, the sky was still dark a little with a little light shining through. I sit up, and look back at Mike.
Me- alright...
Mike- I'll get you clothes from Nancy's room so you can shower quick and change. You've been in that outfit for awhile heh
He gets off from the bed, leaving me on the bed still, he walks out of the room. He comes back with clothes in his hands.
Mike- here and I'll turn on the shower for you, come on
I groan and take the covers off of me while I get off the bed. I walk towards Mike and pass him to go to the bathroom. Once I get at the bathroom he puts the clothes on top of the toilet. He goes to the shower and turns the knob. I stand there with my eyes slowly closing and quickly opening back up so I won't fall asleep.
Mike- ok get ready I'm gonna make sure it's warm
I start taking off my shirt and the pants.
Mike- ok it's warm no-
I notice he didn't finish what he was going to say. I look up and see he is looking at me with bright red face and mouth open. I notice he is staring at me.. my body?
Me- what are you looking at?
I tilt my head waiting for his answer. I see him gulp and looks away, rubbing the back of his neck.
Mike- um... you just uh changed. Like took your clothes off... just now
Me- and? Why are you just staring at me?
I notice that nothing is covering my arms. I quickly hold my arms to myself. I don't want him to see...
Mike- um cause I can see your undergarments and your body
Me- you're making me feel weird, Mike. Why are you staring at me that way?
Mike's face turns more red and looks away. Not looking at me anymore.
Mike- because you have a nice body...
Me- is that good? Or should I cover myself again?
Mike- no it's perfectly fine..
There was a short silence and I look down to the floor
Mike- Sev?
He sounds concerned and confused. I look up at him and notice he could see my scars on my arms and stomach
Me- yes?
He walks a little closer to me as I hold my arms tighter and I walk back so he won't really see them
Mike- Sev? What's that on your arms?
He looks down to my stomach and his eyes look like he was about to cry. But why? He holds out his hand so I can hold out my arm
Me- nothing, Mike. It's nothing
Mike- no it's definitely something. Let me see
I pull away from him as he was about to grab my arm
Me- don't
He looks into my eyes with hurt in his own
Mike- please?
I let out a shaky breath I was holding out my arms for him. He slowly walks in front of me and holds both my arms
Mike- did they do this?
Me- most of it was them, yes. Some others the other places are from the shark. And others were
He looks up to my eyes quickly, waiting for my answer
Mike- yourself?
I nod my head and look down. I didn't want him to see these. Just bad memories
Mike- wait, does it hurt like when we hugged or anything?
He starts feeling a little scared if he hurt me whenever he touched me before
Me- no, no. They are just still here from awhile ago and years of being there
Mike- I'm so sorry, Sev
Me- what for? You didn't know me or about me and what was happening
Mike- but I should've seen way sooner, Sev. This isn't good
Me- it's alright..
Mike- why'd you do it though?..
Me- I was mad and alone. I did see El but not so often. She doesn't even know and I'd like it to stay that way, please
His face softens and nods slowly. He looks back on my arm and start holding it to his face, soon to be landing soft careful kisses on my arms and making his way up. I start going to give him a hug but he stops me, making me give him a confused look
Mike- you don't have clothes on
Me- ok and?
I furrow my eyebrows at him as his cheeks turns pink
Mike- well I cant touch you... like this
Me- because of my scars and cuts? It's fine just be gentle
Mike- no not that. Remember when you were sitting on my lap yesterday?
I nod
Mike- well... it'll happen again.. if I touch you this way
Me- so? Is it bad?
Mike- haha you innocent child
He puts his hands on my cheeks as he laughs, I'm still confused
Me- I'm confused. Mike I don't like when this happens and you know it
Mike- you'll know eventually
Me- but I want a hug
I put my lower lip out and give him sad face
Mike- after you shower, promise
I get a little too happy that I make a squeak noise out of nowhere, which was new. He laughed and takes his hands off my face
Mike- now get in when I leave
I just stand there smiling at him, imagining the big hug I'll give him which he won't expect. He shakes his head while smiling and leaving the room as he closed the door. I took my undergarments off. I pull the cover and step into the shower with the water hitting my body. The water feels warm. Not too hot or too cold. I wash everything and do what Nancy told me to do without washing my hair though. I turn the knob to turn the water off from running. I pull the cover and step one by one out of the shower. I grab the towel and dry my body. I change into the outfit Mike put on top of the toilet
