Janelle's POV
After that talk with Nicholas, his vague actions became transparent. Ever since na makilala ko siya, I had known him being flirt with all the single teachers here. Does it mean he wants me to be jealous?
I sighed. This is the reason why I don't want to be so pretty. Maraming nagkakagusto. Problema ko pa.
"I'll come to your house on Friday night. Sa inyo ako magdi-dinner," Nicholas said the next day.
"Wala ng foods sa inyo? " I nonchalantly asked him. He hissed and grabbed my wrist to pull me kaya napayakap ako sa kanya.
Nasa faculty room kami and I sighed in contentment when I remembered that all the teachers are in their respective classrooms. "Loko ka talaga---"
"Ms. Janelle can I ask some---" Hihiwalay sana ako mula kay Nic pero hindi niya 'ko pinakawalan. I'm facing the door so my eyes immediately landed to Vince and Teacher Irish na nasa pinto.
"Kyaaaaah!!! Kayo na ba? Sir Nicholas sinagot ka na ba ni Ms. Janelle?! Waaaah! Sa wakas! " si Teacher Irish.
Nicholas let me go but he firmly held my hand. Pumatak doon ang tingin ni Vince. He clenched his jaw and hissed. Then looked away.
Nicholas didn't answer and just smiled. Then he let go of my hand and went to his table.
"Uh hehe... H-Hindi... I mean... A-Ano---"
"Okay lang 'yan Ms. Janelle, parehas naman kayong single and matagal na ring may gusto sa 'yo si Sir Nicholas," si Teacher Irish pa rin. Nag-thumbs up sa kanya si Nicholas.
"May kailangan ba kayo? " I asked instead.
"May itatanong daw po si Sir Vince eh..."
"Ah... Wala, I forgot about it. S-Sige alis na 'ko." Vince said and went out of the room while Teacher Irish followed him.

"Ma'am Janelle, magdi-dinner na daw po kayo sabi ng mommy niyo," Ate Delia, kasama namin sa bahay, told me.
"Sige po, susunod na po ako." I stopped what I am doing and go downstairs.
Kamusta kaya sila sa dorm? Kumpleto naman ang gamit doon so walang problema. Pakabitan ko kaya ng heater kasi malamig dito tuwing umaga?
"Let's eat Janelle," Mommy said.
"Sige po... Uh... 'My, pupunta daw dito si Nicholas eh. Dito siya magdi-dinner." May nag-doorbell. "Baka siya na po 'yon."
"Sige let's wait for him. How about Vince? Why don't you invite him here?" Alam na niya kasi na nasa tabi-tabi lang si Vince.
"Whatever 'My." I went outside para salubungin si Nicholas. I saw him smiling from ear to ear. May dala pang cake.
"Happy birthday," anito at ibinigay sa akin ang cake.
"Ha ha ha, galing mong mag-joke. Tara na sa loob, gutom na 'ko."
"Si Tita Jane?"
"Nasa dining room na, masamang magutom 'yon. Bilisan mo."
"Like mother, like daughter."
"Whatever Nicholas." Nauna na 'kong maglakad sa kanya. He followed me and we saw Mommy smiling to the both of us. 'Yong ngiti na maraming enrolled students.
"I'm right, you two are really dating!" she said with so much exaggeration.
Matagal na niyang inilalakad sa 'kin si Nicholas. And... I don't know if my decision is right.
