Saturday

I woke up late this morning. I checked my phone and it's already 12pm. Lunch time and yes, I slept late last night because I was binge watching a Netflix series titled "You" which I finished the first season in one night! I can't believe I had the ability to do that. It was a great series tho and I already planned to watch the next season later.

I checked my messages and I saw Reign's text.

Reign B. (10:00am)

Got plans today? Bet you don't cuz I'm going to pick you up at 3. Let's go to the mall!

And don't you dare reject me cuz it's Saturday and you have no excuse!

Wtf Reign? Yes I have plans. I have to watch the 2nd season of YOU. I sighed in frustration habang binabasa uli ang text ni Reign. Ang aga aga badtrip.

I mean its not like I don't want to hang out with but I want to spend my free day at home with my family but again, Reign is Reign. Mas takot pa ata ko sa kanya kesa sa prof namin eh.

Naalala ko bigla na may assignment nga pala kami. Ugh! now it's not the time to procrastinate Dominique! but right now I kinda just want to hang out with her and forget about our homework.

To Reign B.

I quickly got out of bed and stretched my body then I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I went downstairs and I saw Mom on the living room together with my siblings.

"Good morning!" I said as I go to the dining area and sat on the chair.

"Ate, it's already past 12. Afternoon na. Ang haba ng tulog mo!" Dylan said while watching his fav cartoon on the tv.

"Oo nga Ate, laki na ng eyebags mo at ang dami mo ng pimples sa mukha!" Cassie said and Dylan laughed.

"You'll also experience this soon pag nag highschool nadin kayo!" sigaw ko pabalik at nagsimulang kumain ng tanghalian.

Mom was just smiling at us and continued to watch the tv.

"Mom, where's Dad?" tanong ko dahil hindi ko pa sya nakikita sa bahay. It's Saturday and sabi nya wala daw syang work.

"Umalis lang saglit at may inasikaso. Babalik din yun agad," sabi ni Mama at bumaling uli sa tv.

"Okay," tipid kong sagot sabay inom ng tubig

"Uh ma, alis pala ko mamayang alas tres. Susunduin ako ni Reign, pupunta lang kaming mall," paalam ko.

Tumayo na ako at niligpit ang aking pinagkainan.

"Oh sige. Ingat kayo, wag masyado mag papagabi at mag text ka sa'kin," sabi ni Mama. She's a bit strict you know?

"Ate pasalubong!" nakita kong nakatayo na si Cassie sa sofa namin.

"Me too, me too!" singit ni Dylan at nakita ko narin syang tumayo sa sofa

"Matapos nyo kong asarin!" naglakad ako palapit sa kanila at kiniliti.

Kahit ang bully nila sakin, mahal ko parin sila.

Umakyat na ko sa kwarto ko dahil kailangan ko pang mag ayos. 2:00pm na at malapit ng dumating si Reign. Naligo na ko at nagbihis. I'm wearing a high waisted jeans at white crop top partnered with my lowcut white converse.

I also put on minimal make up like tint for my lips and little bit of mascarra for my eyelashes. I put my hair in a messy bun and sprayed perfume on my neck and wrist. I looked at myself again infront of the mirror one last time and went downstairs.
