"Here, take this." I said and handed him the earpiece.
"What for?" he asked and furrowed his brow.
Tinignan niyang mabuti ang earpiece at tumingin sa'kin.
"So I can stay connected with you and Uno," I said lazily
Binigay ko din kay Uno ang isa pang earpiece at agad naman niya itong nilagay sa tainga niya. Nakita kong tumingin siya sa rear view mirror at agad nagtama ang tingin namin.
Umiwas ako ng tingin at pinagatuloy niya ang pagmamaneho.
Rio's car was completely damaged at sa tingin ko ay mahihirapan na iyong irepair dahil puro tama na iyon ng bala at basag nadin ang salimin ng bintana.

"Seeing him again, I guess. What if something happens to you? You know how that guy affects you right?" he asked worriedly
I chuckled and sighed. "Don't worry my dear cousin, I'm not gonna do anything. It's not like I'm going to make a scene and ruin the event or something."
"That's what I'm saying," sambit niya at bumuntong hininga.
I turned to him and flashed a smile.
"Okay, just think of it as a reunion. A formal reunion because the last time I saw him, it didn't turn out the way I thought it would be. I mean we had a little interaction and finally the time has come where we finally meet again! Isn't that exciting?" I squealed
He blinked twice and didn't say a word. Umiwas lang siya ng tingin at tinuon ang atensiyon sa bintana.
Ngumuso naman ako at humalukipkip. "Party pooper."
Sumandal nalang ulit ako sa bintana at pumikit.
To tell you truth, I was a bit nervous. Rio's right, I wasn't sure if I'm able to control myself when I see him later. I couldn't even sleep last night thinking about what will happen today.
I spent the whole day yesterday in the training room so that I could distract myself at the same time, to prepare myself.
And at the end of the day, you got no other choice but to be strong.
My uncle and my cousin are my only family right now. They are my source of strenght...but they are also my weakness.
Ilang sandali ay naramdaman kong tumigil ang sasakyan. Unti-unti akong dumilat at pinagmasdan ang paligid.
"Well, we're here." tugon ni Uncle.
Kita mula sa loob ng kotse ang malaking bahay na tila parang mansion sa sobrang laki. Kumunot ang noo ko habang pinagmamasdan ko ang kabuuan ng bahay.
"Hey, you okay?" nabaling ang atensiyon sa aking pinsan.
"Yeah, let's go." sambit ko at bumaba ng kotse.
Una ko agad nakita ang hile-hilerang mamahaling kotse na nakaparada sa tapat ng mansion. Halos wala ng space sa pagpark ng ibang kotse.
I heard Rio whistled beside me as he observed all those fancy cars. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
