(Spoilers for SVS part 2)

Tw- crying

"He did what," Virgil hissed. He and Roman were in a room of the mind palace near Virgil's room. They were standing in a room and Roman was clearly distressed. He was trembling and tears started falling from his eyes.

"Hey, Ro, it's okay. It's going to be okay," Virgil said softly as he pulled Roman closer to him. Roman was sobbing now, and buried his head in Virgil's neck. Out of the corner of his eye Virgil saw Janus rise up.

"Hey! What did you do-" Virgil snapped. He stomped over to where Janus was, but stopped as he saw Janus not pay any attention to him. Janus just kept walking, and sunk out a few steps later. Virgil looked around and hurried back to Roman.

"Hey, Hey. Ro, look at me. Please." Virgil said softly. "I love you." He kissed Roman on the lips lightly, and started to pull away. Then he felt a hand on his waist and one on the back of his head, pulling him back in. The kiss wasn't happy like the other ones they had shared. It was melancholic, but still full of love. When they broke apart, it was Roman who spoke first.

"A-am I really t- that big of a j-jerk?" He said quietly. Virgil looked at Roman with pity. He didn't quite know how to answer that question. Sure, Roman had been a bit mean when he had first met Virgil, but they had gotten through those things. When Roman saw his hesitation, he started to cry harder.

"Hey! Shh shh. It's okay," Virgil soothed. "Do you wanna go to your room and watch some Disney movies?"

Roman nodded at this, and they both sunk out and reappeared in Roman's room. Virgil grabbed the remote and a movie out of Roman's immense collection. Then they both plopped down on Roman's bed.

After watching one movie, they moved on to the next. Roman stayed quiet during most of the movie. Eventually he laid down with his head on Virgil's lap. Virgil ran his fingers through Roman's hair, lulling him to sleep. When Roman was almost asleep, Virgil started to softly sing.

"I'll swim and sail on savage seas
With ne'er a fear of drowning,
And gladly ride the waves of life
If you would marry me.
No scorching sun nor freezing cold
Will stop me on my journey,
If you will promise me your heart
And love me for eternity,"

Then, he's hear a soft voice sing the next part of the song.

"My dearest one, my darling dear
Your mighty words astound me.
But I've no need for mighty deeds
When I feel your arms around me,"

Virgil looked down to see Roman's lips barely moving as he sang.

And then Roman was out, softly snoring as he slumbered. Virgil carefully moved, as to not wake Roman, and laid down next to him. Roman pulled him closer, and they both fell asleep once again.
