You had all entered the hotel now and were heading towards the reception.

"Hello, lovely hotel this, please could you tell me if you have any rooms available?" the doctor asked.

"I will have a look for you" The golden lady behind reception said, typing into a computer.

"Let's see, there are only three rooms left, two twin rooms and one double" she smiled.

"Excellent, Ryan and Graham is it alright if you two share? Yaz you can have your own room and we'll share a room (y/n)" the doctor said.

The others nodded in agreement.

"you want to share the double Doc?" you said smirking.

"Nope, Yaz gets the double, we'll have a twin room, so that I can keep an eye on you after that stunt you pulled today" the doctor said giving you a stern look.

"really" you said shaking your head.

You all got key cards and headed up to the third floor for your rooms, they were all next to each other.

"Night everyone" Yaz said.

"Night" You all replied.

"Sleep well" Graham said.

"I'll try" You said, feeling slightly panicked as you would probably have another annoying nightmare.

The doctor opened the door and you both stepped inside. "Wow" you said, the room was massive, it was more like an apartment! There were two large beds one side of the room, an elegant on suite and even a small kitchen area with a table and a golden sofa.

"This is nice" the doctor smiled.

"ahh, look! There's mini toiletries, I love the mini versions of things!" you could hear the doctor say from the bathroom.

"They've even provided us with pyjamas!" you said as you found a golden pair at the end of the bed.

The doctor came out of the bathroom, she had a plastic see-through shower cap on her head.

You burst out laughing "doctor, what are you doing?" you asked.

"That's meant to be used for when you don't want to get your hair wet in the shower" you giggled.

"I know, but I'm using it as my thinking cap" she said seriously.

You could not control your laughter now; she took it off and sat next to you on the edge of the bed.

"Thought that would make you laugh, it's good to see you laughing" she smiled.

"You're such an idiot" you replied.

"Oi" she said jokingly elbowing you in the arm.

"Now, it's late and you need to get some rest" she said.

"Do you even sleep doc?" you asked.

"I don't need as much sleep as humans, I usually have about three hours a night" she said.

"I'm not tired right now, and I could do with a drink" you said.

The doctor looked at you with a slightly worried expression, "I can see you're tired (y/n), you look like you haven't slept properly in days" you knew you had some bags under your eyes, "I know that sleeping is probably not the nicest of thoughts for you, nightmares aren't fun, but you can't put it off. And alcohol only makes things worse" she said.

"I usually drink till I practically pass out to get to sleep, it's just easier that way. Think I'll pop downstairs, I noticed they had a 24 hour bar here" you replied.

"This is exactly why I said I needed to keep an eye on you" she sighed. "That really isn't good for you, and you are not leaving this room, especially by yourself, there is someone on this planet draining people of their blood, using only a straw! Do you really think that would be a good idea?" the doctor said raising an eyebrow.

"when you put it that way... hang on, she uses a straw! Gross!" you replied.

"Yeah, it's really painful too!" she said.

"please don't go anywhere (y/n), I really need you safe" she said looking you directly in the eyes. You felt something you hadn't felt in an exceptionally long time, "shit, was that butterflies I just felt in my stomach" you thought. You tried to ignore it.

"Fine" you said rolling your eyes.

"I think we have a mini bar anyway" you said about to get up.

The doctor gently grabbed your arm.

"(y/n), you really don't need it, it will make things worse" she pleaded.

"errgh , why do you have to be so damn caring" you sighed, "ok! I'll try and get some sleep without it" there was something about the way she looked at you that made you listen; you could tell that she really did care.

"Thank you" she planted a small kiss on top of your head as she stood up.

You headed to the bathroom and showered and changed into your pj's. You then headed to your bed and got under the covers. The doctor had some sort of device laid out across the table and was tinkering about with it, using her sonic to help.

"Where did you get that from?" you asked.

"My pocket, love pockets" she said pointing to her coat which was draped across the back of a chair. You looked at her slightly confused.

"The Tardis isn't the only thing that's bigger on the inside" she replied.

"I bet it's not" you winked.

The doctor rolled her eyes.

"Seriously though, that's pretty cool" you replied, "That's some proper Mary Poppins shit right there" you said.

"Language" she glared at you, "And I'm no Mary Poppins... or am I?" she said mysteriously.

You let out a little laugh, you could actually feel yourself getting tired now.

You listened to the doctor talking away quietly, about anything and everything and felt your eyelids get heavier. You slowly drifted off to sleep.
