Several hours had passed since you both fell asleep. You woke up to the wonderful feeling of someone gently playing with your hair. You looked up and smiled at the doctor.

"Finally get some sleep?" you asked.

"Yes, thank you, I'm glad you rested too, you look so cute when your sleeping" she smiled.

It has been a long time since someone had called you cute, you rather liked it.

Just then the door burst opened and Yaz ran in.

"(y/n)! Your awake! Thank goodness!" she practically shouted, running towards you, and giving you a massive hug. She perched on the other side of the bed next to you.

"We were so worried!" she said. "How are you?" she asked.

"I'm feeling a lot better, thanks" you smiled.

She suddenly looked at you more seriously, "(y/n) you put your life at risk. That would have been me, if you had not of charged at her", she grabbed your hand "Thank you" she said.

"No problem Yaz, I couldn't see you get hurt" you smiled.

"I don't like seeing anyone get hurt" the doctor said. "I couldn't keep you safe (y/n) and I feel awful about it, are you sure you made the right decision? Traveling with me? I... I can take you back home?" The doctor said.

"What, you want to take me home?" you said, feeling hurt.

"No, I was just asking you if that's what you wanted? You'd be safe." She replied.

"Are you crazy?" you questioned, "I do not want to go home! I don't care how many times I nearly die. Travelling with you is the only place I want to be" you said, looking into her captivating eyes.

"I'd rather you didn't nearly die again" she sighed, "Are you sure you wish to stay?" she asked.

"I'm sure" you snapped slightly. You were feeling a little annoyed that the doctor was asking you if you wanted to go home. You began to get up and hopped out of bed.

"Careful (y/n), you still need to rest" the doctor said.

"I just need some space" you replied. You were in need of a little thinking time to yourself, to get your head around everything. You were walking down a corridor, not sure where you were heading. You came to the entrance to the library. You walked into the extraordinary room again and went to head to the alcove you had sat in before, but something else in the room caught your eye.

There was another alcove the other side of the room, and inside it you could see a beautiful grand piano. "Perfect" you thought. You headed over to it and sat down on the large piano stool. You gently brushed your fingers against the keys. You loved music and singing, it helped to relax you. You were a skilled pianist and also enjoyed playing the guitar.

You sat staring at the keys, several thoughts running through your head.

"Uhh" you groaned, you made your forehead gently hit the piano keys and the noise range out.

"I don't think that's how you play it" a voice laughed.

You looked up; the doctor was standing there, looking at you.

"Did you not hear me say I wanted some space" you replied.

"I did, but usually when someone says that, what they probably need is someone to talk to" she smiled softly and headed over towards you. There was enough room for her to sit on the stool, next to you. You could not help noticing how close she was to you and how her body was brushing against your side.

"I'm sorry (y/n), I shouldn't have asked you if you wanted me to take you home. I was just worried and wanted to keep you safe."

You looked into her kind eyes and couldn't help but smile slightly.

"That's alright, I was just getting my head around everything. Thinking about the last few days" you said. "It's been crazy, but I wouldn't change it for the world" you said. "I don't miss anything from home, only me guitar" you laughed.

"We can pick it up, if you'd like?" the doctor asked.

"No thanks, I just don't really want to go anywhere near there at the moment. I love travelling with you" you smiled.

"Just please, be careful. I can't have you diving at aliens, that's the second time you've been in the med bay, it's becoming a bit of a habit" the doctor laughed.

"I'm always hurting myself somehow" you laughed, "Even when I was back home. I have a habit of tripping over nothing and walking into everything" you laughed.
