A Sky Full of Stars - 13th Doctor x Reader

You stared at Argo in shock. You were trying to take in what he had just said. 

You felt a whole range of different emotions run through your body. The thought that the creatures who had taken away the ones you loved most, were nearby, sent a shiver down your spine and you felt your chest begin to tighten.

"And where can we find this Ki-hal?" you asked angrily.

"No (y/n)" the doctor quickly said. "we are not finding him, I'm taking you four back to the Tardis, I'll sort this one out myself" she said.

You glared at her.

"This ones to dangerous and to close to home for you" the doctor said, looking at you with worry.

"You don't get to decide that" you said.

"Yes, I do" the doctor said calmly.

"I think it's best (y/n)" Graham said.

"You don't need to see them again" Yaz almost whispered.

You looked at her.

"You've met them before?" Argo asked.

"We all have" the doctor said, "I have on many different occasions, Yaz, Graham and Ryan met one, but it was slightly different, it took control of a person" the doctor said. They all nodded. "And (y/n)..." she started to say.

"They killed my mum and my little brother right in front of me and fucking laughed about it!" you shouted.

"I'm sorry" Argo said.

"You need to calm down (y/n), this is exactly why I need to take you back to the Tardis" she said.

She looked you directly in the eyes. You stared into hers, they were full of worry and even fear, you hated to see them looking like that.

"Ok" you said, "But please don't come back alone...bring someone with you" you said.

"I'll come" Yaz said.

"No" the doctor said, "It's too dangerous, you will all stay in the Tardis" the doctor said with authority. 

"and let us all sit there and worry about you? You don't need to do this alone, doctor" Yaz said.

The doctor was about to argue with her when Yaz suddenly yelped a little and grabbed her neck.

"Yaz?...are you ok?" the doctor asked.

You were at her side in an instant. You could see her begin to sway slightly. When you reached her, she slowly fell forwards into your arms. You gently lowered her to the ground. Her eyes closed and she was out like a light.

"Yaz!" you said worried. You checked that she was breathing and pulled a weird metal dart from her neck.

The doctor was beside you, checking that Yaz was ok, she took the dart from you.

"Tranquilizer" the doctor said, looking around her with concern.

"You need to get out of here!" Argo shouted, "Quickly, you can take shelter at my home" he said.

You and the doctor began to carefully lift Yaz. As you did so, you could hear Ryan and Graham yelp slightly.

They looked at you both with worry, before they fell to the ground.

"No!" you shouted.

The doctor was the next to be hit, she flinched slightly but quickly pulling the dart out from her neck.

She gently lowered Yaz back down to the ground.

You could see her sway slightly but not fall, it didn't seem to affect her quite as much.

"Run (y/n), go with Argo" she quickly said to you.

It was too late though; you felt a sharp pain in your neck.

"Ouch" you said. The doctor quickly pulled the dart out.

You could feel yourself getting woozy, the doctor quickly grabbed you as you began to fall.

You could just about make out Argo dropping to the ground behind her.

"I've got you" you could faintly hear her say.

"Is that all you've got!" you could hear her shout angrily.

"Ow!" she quickly said, pulling another dart out of her neck.

You could feel yourself gently being placed on the ground, her body falling beside you. You could blurrily make out her worried face, looking at you.

"It's going to be ok..." she said, groggily.

You felt your eyes close and your body fall into unconsciousness.
