"I hate that women are treated different, it's not right!" you suddenly said. "We are more than capable of doing anything a man does, we're all human, it shouldn't matter what's between your legs" you said.

"I know it doesn't (y/n), but things do get better, look at the world you live in today" the doctor said.

"It is better, but I don't think it will ever be 100% equal, there are still gender stereotypes, men are still sometimes paid more and are presumed to be the stronger sex, I don't think it's an equal world for anybody" you sighed.

"I guess that's just the way it is. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was treated equally regardless of whether  you're a man or a women or whatever gender you identify as? It doesn't matter what, race, colour, religion or sexuality you are; we are all human and we deserve to be treated equal!".

You did not realise how passionate you felt and realised you just had a massive rant.

"Now, that, is how you get your anger out" the doctor said looking at you.

"Words are very powerful, couldn't have said it better myself" the doctor smiled at you.

"That felt good" you laughed.

You all began sipping happily on your drinks, until you overheard some men talking, they had just entered and headed to the bar.

"What are those three doing in here" one said, looking over at your table.

"They should be ashamed of themselves, haven't they got husbands and children to look after?" another one added.

You could feel your body tensing up again. Yaz and the doctor where looking at you with worry on their faces.

"That's exactly what I said" The bar man replied, "One of them has got a big mouth on her, bet she's not even married, the stupid whore" he scowled.

You stood up. The doctor and Yaz instantly went to grab you.

You looked at them, you were managing to keep your temper under control. They looked at you confused.

"Aren't you angry?" the doctor asked.

"I am beyond angry" you replied, "But it's time to teach them a lesson, not using my fists" you said.

You began to head towards the bar. They still got up and followed you hesitantly, Yaz was standing so close to you, you could feel her body brush against yours.

"Does a man like yourself, allow a woman to sing a song at the piano, sir?" you asked the barman.

The doctor and Yaz looked at you in shock, wondering why you were being so polite.

The barman looked slightly taken a back to.

"I suppose that's one of the few things women are good for, go ahead" he sneered.

It took everything in you to not turn around and swing at him, but you managed to keep it together.

You headed over towards the piano. The doctor, Yaz, Graham and Ryan moved to a table in front of you.

You began to play, but you realised you were being slightly too aggressive with the keys, so you stopped.

"Uh hum" you coughed.

You heard sniggers from your friends.

You began to play again, this time you were more relaxed, and the melody and tone were just right.

This is a man's world...

You began, staring at the barman, he thought you were going to sing him a nice little song.

This is a man's world,

But It wouldn't be nothing, nothing,

Without a women or a girl.

You glared at the men standing by the bar, they all had annoyed expressions on their faces. You were getting into it now and wear playing the piano sassier than ever.

You see, man made the cars,

To take us over the road.

Man made the trains,

To carry heavy loads.

Man made electric light,

To take us out of the dark.

Man made the boat for the water,

Like Noah made the ark.

This is a man's, a man's world,

But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing,

Without a women or a girl.

You could hear your fam cheering you on from their table.

Man thinks about little baby girls and baby boys,

Man makes them happy 'cause man makes them toys.

And after man has made everything,

everything he can.

You know that man makes money,

to buy from other man.

But it wouldn't mean nothing, nothing,

Without a woman or a girl.

You looked directly at the barman again and sassily pointed a finger at him.

He's lost in the wilderness.

He's lost in the bitterness.

This is a man's world.

But it wouldn't mean nothing, nothing,

without a woman... or a girrrl.

You stopped playing and changed your pointing finger into putting your middle finger up.

"Thank you" you said. Stepping down from the piano and joining the others at the table.

They all hugged you.

"That was awesome!" Ryan said

"I'm not going to ever forget that" Yaz laughed.

"You've got a great voice, well done!" Graham added.

The doctor looked at you and shook her head.

"you know, I don't think I've ever met anyone quite like you" she laughed.

"I think I'll take that as a compliment" you grinned.
