You had woken in the night, having had the same terrible dream. You were still drunk and were very confused as to where you were. The doctor had held you close and calmed you down.

She tried to talk and ask you about it, but you were still very drowsy and just laid your head against her chest and fell back to sleep. You could faintly make out her saying something about talking about it in the morning.

When you woke in the morning your head was pounding and any light was too bright. You grimaced as you opened your eyes.

"Morning, feeling rough?" the doctor asked, beside you.

You jumped slightly at her voice and looked around at your surroundings, confused.

"You're in my room" the doctor said, seeing your confused face.

The doctors room was very neat and tidy, the walls were mainly Tardis blue, you could see some amber crystal shards on some of them, just like the ones in the console room. The doctor also had the same amber and blue glowing lights and her ceiling showed the sky, just like yours.

"Nice room" you smiled, it soon turned into a slight grimace when you felt how much your head was hurting.

"My head feels like it's going to fall off" you sighed, holding it slightly.

"I'm not surprised!" the doctor said handing you a large glass of water which you gratefully began to drink.

"Take these" she said, handing you some tablets.

"They'll help with the headache and the hangover" she explained.

"Thanks" you said, quickly swallowing them.

You laid your head back down on the pillow.

"Err, doctor...what exactly happened last night?" you asked, "it's all a bit fuzzy" you said.

The doctor laid back beside you, "We had an argument, and I said something I really shouldn't have said" the doctor said, looking you in the eyes.

"I remember that bit" you sighed.

"I didn't mean it (y/n), I'm so sorry, I really shouln't have said it, I was just really cross" she sighed.

You turned to her and gently placed your hand on her cheek. She was really upset with herself.

"Hey, it's ok, I know you didn't mean it now. We all say things we shouldn't, when we're angry" you said.

"Sorry" she whispered.

"I remember being angry and going to the kitchen for some alcohol...Yaz talked to me and I felt a little better" you said.

"You smashed the bottle against the wall and also punched the wall (y/n)" she said looking at you with concern.

"How is your hand?" she said, gently taking it and looking at the grazes and bruising on your knuckles.

She sighed, "it could have been much worse, luckily Yaz got you to put some ice on it".

"Hang on..." you looked at the doctor, "You weren't there when that happened, how do you know that?" you asked.

"I err...I heard some glass smash and came to check if you were ok, I didn't want you to hurt yourself" she said, not looking you in the eye.

"I could hear Yaz was calming you down, so didn't interfere" she said.

"You stayed though didn't you? You stayed and listened to me and Yaz?" you questioned.

"I'm sorry" she said, finally looking you in the eyes, "you sounded upset..."

"I'm actually glad you did listen" you laughed, "You were so angry with me, there was no way you would have let me explain everything to you" you sighed.
