You realised that you had ended up being taken to Holloway prison. You were dragged through a corridor; you could see dark and gloomy looking cells, either side of you.

Several women were crammed into each one. They were slouched and sat on the dirty ground, some leaning against the bars.

They looked weak, dirty and some looked malnourished. The conditions were poor and unkept.

You found your-self making brief eye contact with a woman through the bars. She looked at you so pitifully, she was older and you felt an overwhelming need to help her. The light looked like it had been lost from her eyes.

The policemen holding you stopped outside of a smaller cell.

You could only see one other woman, sitting hunched up in the corner.

One of the policemen opened the door, the other dragged you over towards it.

You tried to resist one last time, not wanting to be stuck in such a gloomy environment.

"Oh no you don't!" the policeman holding you said.

He held you tighter, his grip was hurting your arms, so you decided to kick him hard in the shin.

You heard him cry out in pain.

"I think this one needs teaching another lesson" he snarled.

He forcefully shoved you through the door, causing you to lose your balance and fall backwards onto the ground.

He kicked you hard in the upper arm, it was definitely going to leave a nasty bruise. You already felt ones forming on your face, from earlier.

"Not so clever now, are you?" he snarled.

"Leave her alone!" the woman in the cell shouted at him.

He began to head towards her but you stuck your foot out, causing him to trip over it.

He stood up, his face looking like thunder.

"That...was a bad idea!" he shouted.

You felt his foot painfully and powerfully collide with your side. You heard a crack and felt instant pain shoot to your ribs.

You could not help but scream out, and instantly grab your side.

It looked like he was going to have another go, but the other policeman luckily told him to leave it. He backed out of the cell, slamming and locking the door, whilst glaring at you.

You saw him hobble away down the corridor, you were glad you had at least caused him some kind of pain.

"Are you alright?" you heard the other woman say, heading over to you.

"I've been better" you laughed, making yourself wince and put a hand to your ribs again.

The lady gently went to help you up, you felt pain shoot through you as you tried to stand and just ended up being gently moved and shuffled across the floor; so your back was leaning against the wall, taking some pressure off your ribs.
