A Sky Full of Stars - 13th Doctor x Reader

The Daleks

The doctor quickly uncuffed you from the railing but made sure to put them back on your wrists, your arms out in front of you. "Hold her" the doctor said to Yaz.

Yaz grabbed you by the arm, you were trying to keep in control.

"We need to all quickly find some cover" the doctor said, with worry in her voice.

She suddenly began flipping some of the metal tables over not caring what she knocked off them.

They were tall and provided good cover, she pulled you all down behind them.

You saw that some weapons had been knocked to the ground, you quickly grabbed a small hand gun, seeing it was loaded and shoved it in your pocket. You realised that yours were also slightly bigger on the inside. You managed to grab it without anyone seeing and before Yaz kept a hold on you again.

"You can't hide" Ki-Hal laughed.

"Ki-Hal" you  suddenly heard a voice that you wished you wouldn't have had to hear, ever again. It spoke in a high pitched, electronic tone. 

"You called us" it said.

You wanted to throw yourself at what you knew was the other side of the table, the rage was flowing through you.

Yaz and the doctor held you down tightly.

"Try and control it" the doctor said.

You were struggling, trying to pull yourself free.

"Ryan, please help Yaz" the doctor instructed.

They both took a side and an arm of yours, holding you down.

The doctor poked her head around the side of the table.

There were at least five Daleks in the room, they were beside Ki-Hal.

They saw the doctors head appear, and they all yelled in unison...

"Exterminate! Exterminate!"

You could hear and see the blasts of energy shoot out from their weapons, luckily the table's were thick and strong and it didn't go through them. Some shot above you and left scorch marks on the wall.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" the doctor shouted, she had ducked back down behind the table.

They stopped firing.

"I didn't expect them to listen to that!" the doctor said, scrunching her face.

"Why are you here?" she asked.

She had pulled out her sonic and was fiddling with it as she spoke, trying to find a setting.

You had managed to gain a small bit of control and had stopped struggling a little, you felt exhausted.

"We want this planet" a robotic voice of a Dalek spoke.

"For me!" you could hear Ki-Hal say.

"And then the rest of the universe...Daleks will control everything" it said.

"We will become stronger, more powerful and bring more rage than ever before" one of them said.

"I don't think so" the doctor said, through gritted teeth.

She suddenly stood up, Yaz looked at her shocked.

"Doctor? What do you think your doing?" you could hear her say.

The doctor quickly pointed her sonic at the Daleks.

They began to instantly say "Exterminate!" but you couldn't hear or see any beams of deadly energy.

"Ha!" the doctor laughed, "managed to block your weapons signals, your not as advanced as some of the others I've met before" she smirked.

"Won't last forever though, so I'll have to stop you quickly..."

The doctor stepped out and moved in front of the table, confronting them all.

You all stood up behind the table, Yaz and Ryan had a very strong hold on you.

As soon as your saw the daleks, you felt the instant rage burn through you again.

The doctor shot you a concerned look, it hurt her so much to see you struggling like this.

"you can't do that!" Ki-Hal yelled.

"Really" the doctor said, "Looks like I just did" she laughed.

"What were your plans for Ki-Hal?" the doctor asked the Daleks.

"They answer only to me!" he shouted in response.

"We were using him to help rebuild us" A Dalek replied, the lights on top of it's head lighting up as it spoke.

"You weren't using me, I found one of you, I chose to help you" Ki-Hal said, looking annoyed.

"And when you'd gained enough strength and power, what were you going to do to him?" the doctor asked.

They didn't reply.

"This is ridiculous" Ki-Hal growled.  

"I'm the one in control here" he said.

"Hate to break it to you" the doctor said scronching her nose up, "But I did warn you... they were only using you to get what they wanted, as soon as they had it, you would no longer be needed..."

"That's not true!" he shouted.

"Look at him" the doctor said to the daleks.

"He can't even stand anymore, is he any use to you now?" the doctor said.

"No" a dalek replied,  in its haunting voice.

"What?" Ki-Hal replied, "You'd be nothing without me!" he shouted.

"Wrong" a dalek replied.

"You are no longer useful" one said.

"How dare you!" he screamed.

"Exterminate!" one of them said, turning towards him.

Nothing happened though.

"Disabled your weapons, remember!" the doctor grinned.

"I will not have this..." ki-hal screamed, looking deranged.

"If I'm not in control, no one will be" he shouted.

"control freak alert" You could hear Yaz murmur beside you.

"Luckily, I always had a back up! If things didn't go my way..." he scowled.

"What do you mean?" the doctor asked.

"I rebuilt them...I put in a little fail safe inside of them, in case I'd ever need it" he laughed.

He pulled out a device from his pocket.

"What is that device?" A Dalek spoke.

"This little thing is a detonator, when I was building you, I had the sense to put a small explosive inside your casings, in case anything like this ever happened" he grinned.

"Nooo!" the daleks robotically screamed.

"Take cover" the doctor shouted.

"Exterminate!" all the daleks shouted.

Their weapons had reactivated!

They were all pointing at Ki-Hal, he managed to push a button on the device just before the beams of deadly energy hit him, illuminating his skeleton, his body going limp.

You were pulled down with the others as the Daleks began to explode, you could hear their haunting screams as they burned.

"Lets get out of here!" the doctor shouted.
