A Sky Full of Stars - 13th Doctor x Reader

Catch up

You woke up the next morning, with an awful headache. The doctor had dosed you up on painkillers and you had decided to go and have a clean up and to change into a fresh set of clothes. You were still in your dress from the night before and you could feel some blood in your hair.

Once you were all cleaned up, you inspected your forehead in the mirror. The doctor had done an excellent job of stitching it up, it left a neat gash. You were grateful that the doctor had some special healing cream, otherwise, eventually, you would of had a nasty scar left there.

You headed to the library and grinned as you saw the doctor sitting on one of the sofas, she was drinking a cup of tea and munching on some custard creams.

"Hello you" she said, giving you a warm smile as you entered. "Tea?" she offered. 

You smiled and nodded your head. You sat down next to her and snuggled into her side. She poured you out a cup, which you happily sipped on.

"Feeling a little more refreshed?" she asked you.

"Much better thanks" you replied.

"Any pain?" she asked.

"Nope" you smiled, "Those painkillers you gave me, did the trick"

"Painkillers...God I need some of them, my head feels like it might just fall off" Ryan mumbled as her entered the library.

Yaz and Graham followed behind.

"Same here" Yaz said, rubbing her head.

"You both shouldn't have drank so much then!" the doctor laughed.

They all sat down, joining you both, on the sofas.

"I thought you might be needing some, water and tablets are on the table" she sighed and pointed to the table in front of her.

"Thank you!" Ryan and Yaz said in unison. They downed their water as if they hadn't drank any in days and took the tablets.

"Err, how are you (y/n)?" Ryan asked, "I wasn't sure what happened, these two filled me in this morning" he said.

"I'm alright thanks, the docs worked her magic, so I'll be fine" you smiled.

"I can't believe that happened to you!" Graham said.

"The doctor sorted him out though!" Yaz laughed.

"I wish I had been paying attention to that" Ryan grinned.

"Instead you were falling asleep, whilst standing" you laughed.

"Yeah, their alcohol hit me hard" he said.

"Well, I did look over to you at one point, you were having some fun with a sliver lady" you smirked, "and there were so many shot's on your table...the next time we looked, it was just empty glasses and you passed out with your gob hanging open" you laughed.

"And you Yaz...You just wouldn't stop laughing, dancing and drifting off into space" you laughed.

Yaz grinned and turned to you, "let's not forget what you were like...Giggling at every little thing, stumbling everywhere, having two tongues shoved down your throat, dancing with the doctor...then putting your tongue, in her mouth" she smirked.

You could feel yourself instantly blush.

"Oi!" you said.

"Wait...what? Ryan said, "You and the doctor kissed?" he asked.

"They certainly did!" Graham laughed, "They got cut short though, when that idiot showed up" he said.

"Nothings ever boring with you around, is it?" Ryan asked, laughing.

"I guess not" you laughed, "sometimes it would be nice to just go somewhere and not have any drama, trouble or end up getting hurt" you sighed.

"unfortunately, you seem to be a magnet for it" the doctor said, sighing too.

"yep!" you laughed.

"did you have a good birthday though, Ryan?" you asked.

"Apart from you getting hurt, yeah, it was the best!" he grinned.

"I'm glad you had a good time" the doctor smiled.

"I think maybe we should not have such a crazy day today though" the doctor said, "I think it would probably be best for us all to do something more relaxing" she added.

"Sounds perfect" Graham grinned.

"Yeah" Ryan said, "don't feel like doing too much with this hangover" he laughed.

"Agreed" Yaz said.

"I know!" the doctor said excitedly, jumping up like a child.

"Why don't we have a pyjamas and movie day! The Tardis has its own cinema" she grinned.

"Ohh and snacks...biscuits, ice cream and popcorn!" she said excitedly.

"Sounds perfect" you grinned.

The others agreed.

You were all soon sitting comfortably in the Tardis cinema,  snacking on popcorn. The doctor said that she had chosen the film for you. She came and sat in the chair next to you and you snuggled into her, resting your head on her shoulder.

You saw the familiar Disney logo appear on the screen and were delighted that she had picked the lion king.

"Aww, thanks doc" you smiled at her.

"Thought you'd like it" she grinned.
