An instant heat hit you, as you followed the doctor out of the Tardis.

You felt sweat already appearing on your brow, quickly wiping it away.

You removed your jumper as you were wearing a vest top underneath and threw it behind you, back through the Tardis doors.

Ryan, Graham and Yaz did the same with their jackets.

The doctor didn't seem to be feeling the effects of the heat as much as you all, she did however, take of her coat and drape it over her arm.

"It's a bit hot, isn't it!" Graham exclaimed, wiping the sheen of sweat from his forehead.

"The distress call said that the ship was stranded, drifting towards a burning sun..." you reminded him.

"Gold star for (y/n)!" the doctor grinned, "That's why it's so hot, luckily I can tell the ships heat shields are just about holding up."

The doctor suddenly bent down, placing both her palms flat to the floor.

"What are you doing?" Yaz questioned, giving the doctor a weird look.

"Feeling for vibrations to see if the engines are still running...I can't feel any, so it appears they have stopped working" she explained.

The doctor jumped back up to her feet.

You looked around the room you had landed in.

You could tell you were on a spaceship by the metal walls and pipes running through the ceiling, some were emitting bursts of steam, only adding to the heat.

The room wasn't overly large, it appeared to be a place for storage, the Tardis stood behind you all, almost filling the space available; leaving a small gap for you all to stand.

"Right, lets see if we can find the crew" the doctor grinned.

"Everyone stay close and behind me" she instructed, grabbing your hand.

"Especially you" she said, raising her brows at you, causing you to smirk at her.

The doctor pulled out her sonic from her coat pocket.

A large metal door was sealed shut in front of you.

A control panel could be seen on the wall beside the door, it signalled that the door was sealed tightly shut.

The doctor began scanning it with her sonic and within a matter of seconds, the door was sliding open.

The doctor led you into a wide metal corridor. There was a few metal doors along the right hand side but the widows to the left, providing you with a spectacular view of deep space; really caught your attention.

You headed over to them, staring out in amazement.

You could see the bright, glowing, amber sphere of the gigantic sun; lighting up the whole of the sky with its mesmerizing light.

It glowed with such ferocity, it was like staring into a raging fire, that continued to burn endlessly, consuming everything within its path.

Staring into it felt terrifying, yet you could not help but admire its beauty at the same time.

"The Ember systems sun" the doctor said, "Deadly, but also extremely beautiful...".

Graham, Ryan and Yaz were also staring out at in in awe.

Distracted by the enchanting sight, you hadn't realised that the crew of the ship had entered the corridor from the other direction. They were all standing behind you, aiming  guns directly at you all.
