Sorry it took a little while longer to update...I've not been feeling well and kept falling asleep when I tried to write! This chapter took me around 5 attempts to do, I hope it makes sense! 😂
You stared at the women, feeling confused.
"let's have some light..." she said, pointing a strange device up at the lights on the ceiling. They flickered on, lighting up the room before you and making it feel slightly less eerie.
How on earth did she get there? And what just happened?
You felt your heart rate was elevated again and a hint of fear within you, but you weren't entirely sure why.
"What...what just happened?" you asked.
"Of course...you forget every time you see them!" the women said, realisation in her eyes.
"You need to get yourself one of these" she said, pointing to a tiny metal device on the side of her forehead.
"Doesn't let you forget" she said.
"Forget what?" you asked, feeling more confused.
"I'm sorry but who the hell are you and how did you suddenly appear there?" you asked.
"vortex manipulator" she smirked, pointing to a device on her wrist, "basic time travel" she shrugged.
"Not that you'd know anything about that" she laughed.
"actually, I know an awful lot about that!" you smirked.
"Really?" she raised her brows at you.
"Who are you?" she asked, looking curious.
"I asked you first" you said, raising your own.
"Professor River Song" she answered you.
You knew the doctor mentioned a River before, but you weren't entirely sure who she was and surly this couldn't be that women?
"I'm (y/n) (y/l/n)" you replied.
"I don't suppose you know of the doctor?" you asked, your curiosity getting the better of you.
"Oh sweetie, I'm the doctor's wife" she smirked.
"What!" you shouted.
You knew the doctor used to be married, but she told you she was widowed.
"You can't be!" you exclaimed.
"Oh trust me, I can be!" she said, showing you her wedding ring and raising her eyebrows with a smirk.
