The doctor entered back into the console room, carrying all sorts of equipment with her. You could see wires and all sorts of different things held in her arms.

"I'm just going to connect this up to the Tardis..." she said, beginning to sort through the wires, connecting them to different parts of the console.

You could tell she was concentrating hard. Her eyes were focused and she occasionally stuck her tongue out, and scrunched her face slightly.

"That should do it..." she said with a nod.

She took the other end of the wires and headed over to Yaz.

"Yaz, I'm just going to connect you up to the Tardis, I need to connect a few wires to you" she explained.

Yaz nodded.

The doctor went to place one on her the side of her forehead, on her temple.

"This might tickle" the doctor said, holding up a blue glowing wire.

Yaz jumped back at her touch.

"Whoa, sorry...it's ok" the doctor said.

"Sorry" Yaz replied, "I'm just a bit jumpy...I hate not being able to see, I feel so vulnerable..." she whispered.

The doctor gently placed her hand on her cheek.

"It's going to be ok" she said, reassuringly.

You sat yourself down next to Yaz.

"Its me" you quickly said. "I'm going to hug you, ok?" you asked, not wanting to make her jump.

"Of course" she replied, a small smile appearing on her lips.

You hugged into her side, keeping your arms around her in comfort.

"I'm going to stay here ok, I won't leave your side" you said, softly.

"Thank you" Yaz whispered, snuggling into you.

Graham and Ryan were still in the console room, but standing to the side, not to overcrowd Yaz and to allow the doctor some room to work.

The doctor connected several wires to Yaz, some were on her forehead, neck, and collarbones.

"Right...all set" The doctor said.

"Now...lets get the mirror" the doctor said, picking up an old antique looking mirror, inside of a square frame. It was the most extraordinary mirror you had ever seen.

There was some sort writing down the sides of the frame, it was written in a language you couldn't understand.

You had a strange feeling wash over you as you looked at it, it was almost like it was trying to draw you in.

"Where did you get the mirror from?" you asked, intrigued.

"It's from my home...it was gifted to me as a child" she explained, her face saddening slightly.
