"I trust you" Yaz said, looking you directly in the eyes.

The others nodded in agreement, offering you some reassurance.

You grabbed the nearest fire extinguisher off the wall. Luckily, they were more lightweight and easier to carry in the future.

"Grab as many as you can!" you instructed, as you began running back down the corridor, the intense heat hitting and drenching you like a large wave. You did not care though; nothing was going to stop you from helping the doctor.

You could see the others, grabbing them, from along the corridor; following behind you.

The engine room was a few paces away from you now, the door was already open...

You hesitantly stepped inside, holding out the extinguisher at the ready, in front of you.

The room had become a sauna now, due to the heat. It was harder to see, steam was swirling around you like thick fog.

You could make out a figure in the distance, towards the back of the room.

The others had caught up with you now, you quickly spun around, putting a finger to your lips, warning them to be quiet.

"Do you think you could clear up some of this steam?" you whispered.

"I can direct it out through the vents" Cody replied quietly.

"Good" you nodded.

"This is going to sound crazy, but I need one of you to stand near the fuel tanks...I'll need one of you to open it and release the particles...only when I say" you explained.

"But...it's jammed, they don't release back outside...the particles will be released into the room with us, you saw what happened to the doctor..." Jess said, confused.

"I know, I'd only say to do it, if what I'm about to do works" you explained.

"And what are you about to do?" Graham asked.

"Something crazy...but something the doctor would do, she sees the good in everything... I'm going to try and reason with it..."

"That's too dangerous" Graham said.

"It's the only hope we've got" you said.

"If it all goes horribly wrong, I'm going to try and lead Sam over to the airlock, if some of you could try and get behind him as I distract him. If needed you can help me blast him in that direction..." you explained.

Graham and Ryan nodded, although they still didn't look to thrilled with the idea.

"Whatever happens, that airlock will be opened. If I can reason with him, when I shout for it, the fuel can be released and I will open both of doors, jettisoning the particles and Sam back out, into the sun; returning them to where they belong. Everyone needs to find something to hold tightly onto" you instructed.

"I just hope that it will then let us all go..."

"I'm with (y/n), its worth a shot" Yaz said.

"I'll be by the fuel tank" she said, offering you a small smile.

"Thanks" you nodded, returning it.

"The rest of us can be ready with our extinguishers" Jess said, the others agreeing.

"I'll just get rid of the steam" Cody said.

"Thanks" you smiled.

You took a deep breath in and began stepping over towards the possessed Sam.
