Birthday!

You woke up in the morning to the doctors grinning face.

"Morning" she gave you her biggest smile.

"Morning" you mumbled, still feeling sleepy.

"It's Ryan's birthday today!" she grinned.

"Anyone would think it were yours" you laughed at her excitement.

"I love birthdays!" she said as she literally jumped out of bed.

"How do you have so much energy first thing in the morning?" you asked.

"I'm always full of energy, don't stop till you drop" she said with a face scronch.

"Come on, out of bed, sleepy head!" she said to you as she could see your eyes slowly beginning to close again.

"Just five more minutes" you mumbled.

Next thing you knew, the doctor had grabbed you by the feet and pulled you out of the bed!

It took you by surprise and you grabbed onto her, trying to not lose your balance.

You both toppled over, on to the ground, giggling like children. The doctor had landed on top of you.

She lifted herself up by her arms and looked down into your face.

"This reminds me of when we first met" she smirked at you.

"Didn't take you long to get on top of me... again" you laughed.

"Errr..we'll come back later" you heard a voice say from the doorway.

You both looked up and saw Yaz, Ryan and Graham standing there.

Ryan and Yaz were in hysterics and Graham looked at you both with a mixture of amusement and shock.

"Happy Birthday Ryan!" you grinned at him.

"And this isn't what it looks like" you laughed.

The doctor was still on top of you.

"Err, doc, maybe you should get off me now"

"Oh, yeah, I was quite comfy" she winked at you, causing you to blush a little.

You both stood up.

"I was sleepy and said I was going to have five more minutes, the doctor decided to grab me by the feet and pull me out of bed. I wasn't expecting it so I fell into her and we both fell over...she landed on top of me" you explained, "Not that I'm complaining" you winked at the doctor and it was her turn to blush.

"Yeah...Yeah..." Yaz laughed, "We know who likes to be on top now" Yaz smirked.

You glared at her, "Really Yaz!" you sighed, "If that was happening, It would be me in charge" you smirked.

"I'm always in charge" the doctor laughed, "You're not the only one whose full of surprises" she teased.

You raised an eyebrow at her and your mind started to wander to some inappropriate thoughts.

"Ryans birthday!" the doctor suddenly shouted, making you all jump slightly.

"I got ditracted...Happy Birthday Ryan!" she laughed.

"Thanks" he grinned.

"How old are you again?" she asked.

"21 today!" he grinned.

"21! It's a big one! Your going to get absolutely shit faced tonight!" you laughed.

"Language!" the doctor glared at you, "And we need to be sensible, remember?" she raised her brow at you.

"I remember my 21st...well sort off, It's a bit hazy" you laughed.

"How old are you again?" Ryan asked you.

"Born in 98, I'm 22" you replied.

"You and Yaz are both 21 now aren't ya?" you asked.

"Yep" Yaz grinned at you.

"Ha, I'm older" you laughed.

"I think You'll find I am" Graham said.

"Helloo, thousands of years old over here" the doctor laughed.

"Well, you certainly age well" you giggled. 

"Would you still like to go to new York, Ryan ?" the doctor asked.

"Hell yeah!" he grinned.

"Lets get ourselves ready then" she smiled.

You were all excitedly waiting in the console room, You were just waiting for Graham.

"Have any of you been to new York?" you asked.

"Nope" Ryan and Yaz replied together, "you?"

"no , but I've always wanted to go! My mum told me she spent a year travelling and working there, when she was younger and before she had me" you smiled.

"I've been lots of times" The doctor said, "And in lots of different times, the past, the future...It's a fantastic place" she grinned.

Graham had just entered.

"Have you ever been to new York, Graham?" You asked.

"No, but I've always wanted to go" he smiled.

"Is there a specific year you'd like Ryan? The past, the future or the present?" the doctor asked excitedly.

"Present days fine with me" he smiled.

"Ok, everyone hold on..." The doctor grinned.
