A Sky Full of Stars - 13th Doctor x Reader

Idea

"What happened to you three?" Yaz asked.

"After I was touched, I woke up, on the floor in the middle of the forest...Graham and Ryan were nearby. Thanks to my excellent sense of direction, I guided us back to the village and to the Tardis. There was no sign of you two, so I used the Tardis to locate you both and materialise you both inside...I'm so glad I got there when we did..." the doctor explained.

"So am I, I was so unbelievably close to blinking..." you said.

"I thought I was too late, I thought I was going to lose you both..." the doctor almost whispered.

"Not going to happen" you said, pulling her in for a hug.

"I hated being apart... not knowing where you were, and then we couldn't find you two either" you said, looking at Graham and Ryan.

"I really don't know how I managed to keep it together" you sighed.

"Because you are amazing, and so strong ! You don't give up, you made me feel safe (y/n), you kept us both safe" Yaz said, her eyes still tightly shut.

Her words warmed your heart.

"I wasn't going to let anything happen to you" you said gently.

"We're all back together now" Ryan said, with a smile.

"Where we belong" Graham added.

You couldn't help but smile too, you were so grateful to have everyone around you in the Tardis, you felt content to have your family back.

"what happened to you two?" the doctor asked.

"Headed back to the Tardis after losing you, Graham and Ryan weren't there and we heard a scream from the village so we went to investigate...A lovely old lady let us inside her cottage and told us everything she knew, she showed us the recording she had of an angel...it started coming out of the screen, trying to reach Yaz. I managed to figure out how to stop it." You explained.

"After that, we headed to the place we were told people were showing up. Yaz was counting down from ten the whole way there and then she collapsed. I figured out there was an angel in her mind and luckily thought of the idea for her to close her eyes...I realised we were surrounded by the angels, we tripped, and then, well...thank fuck you guys turned up" you laughed.

"Language!" the doctor said, shooting you a look.

You grinned at her, truly grateful she was by your side again, even if she did occasionally tell you off.

Her frown soon turned into a warm smile.

"Speaking of Yaz...any ideas doctor?" you asked.

Her face turned serious as she turned and headed over to the console, she lent against it, placing her head in her hands. You could tell she was lost in thought, desperately trying to think of a way to help Yaz.

You headed over to her, Graham and Ryan moved either side of Yaz, chatting and comforting her.

"Hey" you said softly, moving to the doctors side.

She looked at you with a frown on her face.

"It so frustrating...I'm trying to think of something!" she said.

"Have you ever encounted this before?" you asked.

"Yes, it happened to Amy..." her face suddenly looked pained.

You hugged into her.

"And I'm guessing you managed to stop it?" you asked.

"Yeah I did...but we ran into the angels again...That's when I lost her... and Rory, they were sent back in time to live there lives, I could never see them again. At least they were together..." she murmured.
