A Dream Come True

Your head felt a lot better, the tablets the doctor had given you were amazing!

"I think we should probably have some lunch now and get out of bed" the doctor laughed.

"Good idea" you agreed.

"I'll just go and have a quick shower and get changed" you said.

"Meet you in the kitchen?" Yaz asked.

You nodded as you headed off to your room.

Yaz had made you all some pasta with a delicious tomato and basil sauce for lunch.

"That was amazing" you smiled, the others agreed and you all helped to clear up.

"Where are we off to today, doctor?" Graham asked.

"Well, I do have an idea actually" The doctor smiled.

"I'm sure you'll all love it, but it's especially for you (y/n)" she said, looking over to you.

"I wanted to make it up to you for what I said"

"I've told you, it's fine doctor" you smiled.

"I still want to do something for you" she said.

"If you insist" you laughed.

You all headed to the console room.

The doctor began to push and flick buttons on the console. She pushed the lever for a custard cream and munched on it happily.

"Ok, everyone, hold onto something" she grinned.

You went to grab on to the closest crystal shard but the doctor gently took your hand and pulled you towards her.

"Help me do the honours? " she grinning, placing your hand on the main Tardis lever, she placed her own hand on top of yours.

You pushed it down together.

The fantastic familiar sound of the Tardis hummed around you as she started her bumpy ride.

You stumbled slightly, but the doctor grabbed you around the waist and held you close to her.

The Tardis stopped travelling and the doctor led you excitedly by the hand to the doors.

"I'm hoping this is good as you dreamed it to be" she smiled opening the doors.

You stepped out and stared in amazement.

You were completely shocked and frozen on the spot, with your mouth gaping open slightly.

You felt a tear gently run down your cheek.

"It's beautiful" you whispered.

You were standing in the middle of a clearing in an enchanting forest. The trees with their pink blossom, magnificently towered over you. The calm breeze caught some of the blossom and the petals slowly floated down around you.

The grass was long, soft and wispy and swayed in the gentle breeze.

You looked up at the sky, it was the most beautiful sky you had ever seen. It was pitch black, with swirls of blues and purples in places. The sky was full of stars, each one shining brightly.

The full moon lit the world up around you with its luminous glow.

The most extraordinary fireflies were floating all around you, they were larger than the ones on earth and even more beautiful. There amazing yellow glow provided you with an extra magical light and you could even feel a warm glow on your skin, coming from them.

The doctor was looking down at you, smiling, as you took everything in.

"This is...it's...well it's better than I could have ever imagined! Thankyou!" you said, pulling the doctor into a massive hug.

"It's so wonderful" Yaz said, holding her hand out, allowing a firefly to gently drift down into her palm.

"Its so peaceful and Relaxing" Graham smiled.

"Stunning" Ryan grinned.

The doctor quickly popped back into the Tardis and bought out some blankets and pillows.

You all laid them out on the grass and lay there, looking up at the glorious sky, your heads resting on the pillows. Graham had a blanket over him and looked like he was going to fall asleep.

"Comfy their Graham?" you laughed.

He gave you a cheeky grin.

You were laying in the middle of Yaz and the doctor.

You snuggled into the doctors side, loving the warmth she provided you.

"This is honestly amazing...Alfie would have loved this, I wish he were here to see it" you said, slightly sadly.

"He is here, and so is your beautiful mum, remember?" the doctor said, pointing up to the sky, "They are the two most beautiful stars, shining brightly up there."

You looked at her and smiled with tears in your eyes.

"Grace is shining brightly up there too, Ryan and Graham" you smiled, "And your mum, Ryan", he smiled at you, "And anyone you've ever lost Yaz".

"And doctor...all the wonderful people you've lost are always shining down on you, remembering how amazing and kind you are" you said.

She turned to face you, "Thank you (y/n)" she smiled at you, leaning in a little closer.

You swear her eyes briefly looked down to your lips, you could feel your cheeks redden slightly.

She kissed you on the forehead.

"ah, I almost forgot, one last thing..." the doctor said getting up.
