In life, it is not only love that is worth sacrificing for. We also need to sacrifice for our friends and family. But what is the reason why do we keep protecting and defending them? Of course, love. We are sacrificing them because of our love to them.

"Foundation week is now officially open. Thank you and Enjoy!" the CEO of our University gladly announced the 49th foundation anniversary of our school.

Agad naman na naghiyawan ang lahat ng estudyante pagkatapos banggitin ni Mr. Fausto Salvador ang mga salitang iyon. Napatalon din kami nila Lestina na parang mga baliw dahil sa naramdamang saya.

We were so early because of the parade. Galing sa Rotonda ay umikot lang kami hanggang sa bumalik ng university. I was a bit irritated because of that early parade but I don't have no choice because it is compulsory.

No one also even dared to brought back the topic about the school's incidents last month because that's what the president told us. The officials really want us to just enjoy the week and they assured us that we are safe starting today.

"Hmm, nandito na 'yong manliligaw ng master natin." biglaang singit ni Lestina sa gitna ng kasiyahan namin.

Hindi ko pa man tinitignan kung sino pero alam kong siya ang ibig sabihin nila.

Biglang kumalabog ang dibdib ko dahil sa biglaang presensya ni Calyx saaking tabi. Narinig ko ang mala bulong na tilian nila Heisha at para bang mga baliw na nakatakas sa mental hospital.

After what happened last night, I immediately told again my goddamn friends about it. I was so very embarrassed with their reactions because it's my first time that happened in my life.

Calyx Salvador, the man that I hated the most is courting me for heaven's sake!

I immediately looked at Calyx with a serious expression because I'm trying to hide what I really feel. He was wearing a gray button down polo shirt paired with gray trousers and white sneakers. My face is already blushing because I realized that we are wearing the same color of outfit. What the effin fudge. I am also wearing a gray fitted dress and white sneakers!

"Gaya-gaya ka ng suot," reklamo ko kaagad pagkalapit niya. Jeez, hindi namin 'to pinagplanuhan.

Some of the students are already walking away from the quadrangle and started visiting some booths. Lestina and Heisha are still at my side but their attention is into someone else.

"I actually don't have any idea on what you're wearing. And besides you ignored me last night. You didn't even reply to my messages," he complained that made me laughed a bit.

Shit, I am not supposed to laugh but why am I laughing?

"It's your fault, not mine." I said and removed my eyes from him.
