Weeks went by and I heard nothing from Harry. Everyone else still kept in touch a bit, but less than Normal. No one had been down to visit yet which I was quite disappointed at. I just felt really lonely most the time, I had Owen but I didnt have anyone else down here, the neighbours seemed nice but I rarely seen or spoke to them. Owen would go out with his friends, which I didnt have a problem with. I normally had a movie night with Oliver. He always made sure I was ok but I never stopped him going out. He worried too much about me being on my own, majority of the time we had Ollie so I was never truly alone.

First training session with the team, I've never been so nervous in my life. They all seemed very aggressive on the pitch I was hoping that was their game faces. "I'll take you, I've got a conference in the stadium anyway" Owen suited and booted ready for his conference. Last time I seen him suited up, was our first date. I just stared at him in awe. "Might want to shut that mouth of yours, you're catching flies" I quickly shut my mouth and scowled at him. "Come on otherwise you'll be late"

We got to the stadium, it was one of the very few days we didnt have Oliver. Owen walked with me to the stadium, we held hands and swung them, laughing like children. "Anyway, I've got to go up here and you down there" he pointed to the home team changing rooms. We shared a brief kiss and then walked in the opposite directions. I took one big inhale and pushed open the changing room doors.

Everyone stopped and stared at me. "Hi, I'm Amelia" I smiled as nice as I could with the anxiety filling my body. Some of the players I recognised from the England squad and I greeted them separately, but even they weren't happy to see me. The rest of the team just rolled their eyes and went back to changing. I had my own personalised locker. I got changed into the saracens training gear and left to walk out to the pitch.

I was wondering around the pitch by myself, I heard the snide comments that were being made. I tried to ignore it but somehow I couldnt. It's like my hearing was amplified and I could hear every little movement. The coach called us in, who insisted on pulling me by her side. The girls just stared at me, some scowling, some looking me up and down. "Ladies, listen up, we have a new starter, some of you may recognise her some of you may not. She will be a great asset to this team if you let her. She will be taking the captain position as you know Zowie has now moved on. Make her feel welcome and well all be fine" the coach pushed us to training. "Her the captain really?" "What makes her more special than us?" The snide comments were really doing my headin but I kept telling myself; do not react. I was stood between two girls who introduced themselves. "Hi I'm Louise" "Hi I'm Sam" we exchanged smiles. "I've seen you play you're amazing" "it be great learning some of your tips" I smiled at them both, just glad I'm not completely hated.

We split out to a mini rugby game, the other fly half took the other team. But she kept giving me evils, I have no idea why. The girls on my side were good, they rarely passed me the ball which is understandable. Coach did shout "pass to Amelia shes open" the girls who had the balls groaned and threw me the ball. Whenever I had the ball, I took some good tackles. Somehow i was slammed to the ground harder than any of the other girls. No one wanted me here, which I kind of got because i was an outsider. But they havent even tried to get to know me. Even my own England team mates have disowned me.

Training went by quite slowly, the snide comments got worse, but when it finally ended I got showered and changed as quick as I could. I was bored of the snide comments by now. It was like dealing with children. "How did she get Owen?" "How long before he bins this one off" I felt my blood boil. They can hate me all they like, but don't bring Owen into it. I tried to get changed in peace, but the anger consumed my body "what is everyones problem? I didnt choose to come here. Your coach wanted me. If you dont like it tough" the girls silenced, except one.

"Why dont you ask Owen? He got you in here and he didnt expect tension?" It was my other fly half; Emma. Great. "I was supposed to be captain this season, but Owen got you in here and now you're waltzing like you own the place. Your not the only rugby player Owen's picked up, played with and dumped. Get used to being on the sideline" she kept edging towards me so instead I packed my bag and stormed out, leaving laughter in the changing room. I really needed some space. This was a bad idea.

I texted Owen;
I'm going to get my car and spending the weekend with Abbi & Charly
See you soon

I quickly ordered an uber and started packing a weekend bag.
