"Another picnic?" I laughed as Owen held his hand out to lead me out the car. "You'll see, but not a picnic" he half hearted laughed, he looked so nervous. We walked through the stadium. As soon as we got to the tunnel there was a bunch of flowers which Owen handed to me. A bunch of red and white roses. They smelt amazing. Owen continued to lead me out to the field.

I couldnt see a picnic blanket, but instead there were little markers across the field. All leading to the middle of the field. I missed this stadium so much. I admired the stadium. Yes it wasnt as big as saracens stadium but it felt like home. Owen lead me to the first spot. We stood on the white marker.

I looked at Owen confused. "In This exact spot was the first time I formally met you. You were stood coaching Oliver, I stood here" he backed away from me. "You didnt turn around until i spoke. But when you did turn around, you looked so beautiful. I had butterflies. That's when I knew I wanted to get to know you" "I knew you were there but I didnt want to turn around" he cocked his eyebrow at me. "I knew you were coming to get Oliver that day. I just didnt want to believe it. I watched you play lots of times. Plus I didnt want to believe you were a jerk like your ex wife" we both laughed.

He took me to the next marker, less than 6ft away. "This is where you were stood when I asked you to our first ice cream date" I widened my eyes "it was a date?" "Urm kind of, I wanted it to be. I wanted to get to know you and I dont think we would be here if it wasnt" we both smiled "I wouldn't change it for the world" I leant in and kissed him. "Were still not done" I rolled my eyes playfully.

We walked to in front of the posts "this is where you were stood, when I first watched you play and score the winning conversion. The season before Oliver joined your mini team" I scrunched my face up "you were here?" He nodded. "Why?" "I wanted to watch you play before Oliver came to training. I was sat over there" he pointed to the seats right in front of me. "It was a difficult kick you were playing ladies wasps" I remembered that game. That was a tough game. "you eyed up the posts and the ball. Licked your lips straightened your posture and then kicked and the ball sailed through the posts. The happiness on your face made me smile, that's when I knew you would be great for Oliver. I wasnt wrong" I wanted to cry because I was so happy. I didnt realise Owen watched me that intensively, how does he remember that?

We went through the different pointers, from when I won the season to when we he came to training to surprise me. It was like travelling back through time. It made me realise how much I needed and wanted Owen. Yes we were going 100 miles an hour but I didn't want it to stop. He lead me to the middle of the pitch where a white blanket was.

He stood in front of me. "Amelia I love you so much and if it weren't for rugby we would have never of met. Well if it wasnt for Oliver. I couldnt be more thankful for meeting you. You are amazing with Oliver, you are so strong, you've been through much and I want to be by your side no matter what. I promise I will never leave you. I promise to be there no matter what life throws at us. I want to grow old with you" I went to hug him but he held me away. "I'm so glad this pitch brought us together" I looked over to the first spot with the biggest smile on my face.

"Amelia Rose Smith" I turned back to find Owen on one knee holding an open box, with the most beautiful diamond ring. I froze. "Will you do me the honour of becoming Mrs Farrell?" I zoned out. "Amelia" he looked so hopeful. "I promise to look after you and give you the best future you deserve" I jumped on him, luckily he held me. "Is that a yes?" I nodded. I couldnt form words, this is the first time in a while i was speechless.. We kissed passionately and then he placed the ring on my finger. The diamond sparkled under the stadium lights.

"Now for part two" I raised my eyebrows at him. "You'll see" he carried me bridal style to his car. Good job otherwise I think I would have fell over in these heels. I seriously need to get used to wearing heels again. "I have to put a blindfold on you now, it's a surprise"

I played with the ring on my finger, it felt weird but It felt right. I kept flash back to how we first met and everything Owen pointed out.

Mrs Farrell really?
