By time the boys finally came up to the box, I had one too many prosecco. Good job I wore flat shoes otherwise I probably would of fell over by now. Oliver ran up to Owen as soon as he lead the team in. I stood in the corner as everyone ran up to their player. I've never felt so awkward before. I stared down to the glass and ran my finger around the top.

Someone stood in front of me "you alright?" I nodded as his voice caused butterflies to fly around my stomach. "You played really well!!" I smiled at him as he pulled me in for a hug. I nearly fell into him. Oliver ran up to us and hugged us too. Maybe this was how it was meant to be? It's just the drink talking. I felt eyes on me, or should I say daggers. Owen lifted Oliver up and he hung on to me as well. Mama Farrell just stood there watching us in awe, I did catch her take a photo of us. Which probably looked very cute.

"Shall we go and get some drinks?" The whole room cheered. He smirked at me. Everyone started to leave the room. "Oliver, you'll be staying with Grandma" he whined. "I'll come get you in the morning, well go for some food" I could never understand who had full custody of Oliver but I suppose that's not my problem. We all walked out, Mama Farrell gave us all hugs and took Oliver home. She whispered something to Owen, he looked at me and smiled.

We all went in taxis into London town, it's been years since I've been out in London. I was dreading this. All the rugby lads were in shirts and trousers, Owen's shirt hugged his body he looked dreamy "How drunk are you? I can smell the alcohol on you already" Owen laughed. I really shouldn't drink! I made a small signal with my hands. The others boys in the taxi laughed. "Who thought we would be partying with the womens best rugby player" I shrug with a confident smirk. "Just because I can kick better than this jerk" I pointed at Owen who did not look happy. "Hey I didnt miss one that whole game" "makes a change" we all laughed. He definitely didnt look happy.

We got into London town, of course we got a VIP booth. We all squished into a booth "a bottle of champagne each please" of course the captain made the orders. Great even more fizz! Each player popped the corks all in unison and glasses raised. The couples shared a bottle, meaning I was left sharing with Owen. The music was loud but some how these were louder than the music. Owen kept me close, always having an arm around the back of me resting on the booth like he was protecting me from something. Whenever I spoke to any of the lads he always watched closely.

Of course, Holly was there. Hugging on to Ben. I rolled my eyes and whispered to Owen "shes trying to make you jealous" he laughed and downed his drink. "No chance of that, I got you now" what does he mean he has me? He hasnt got me. "You dont own me" he nearly spat out his drink. Luckily we got interrupted.

"Come dance" Manu Tuilagi held his hand out and smirked at Owen. He raised his eyebrow as I agreed and went dancing with Manu. I let loose a little bit as the drink was going straight to my head. We danced quite closely. Owen watched intensely. What was his problem? Just best friends so I can dance with whoever I like. He did say "you never know who you might meet" I really wanted to play on his words. This alcohol has got me acting all confident.

I enjoyed myself way too much until his ex wife scooted across the booth to him and whispered something in his ear that made him laugh a little too much. My body started too boil. Was I jealous? If he wants to play that game we can play that game. I completely let loose and started dancing very widly I havent let this loose for awhile.

A hand wrapped round my waist "need a dance partner?" My hairs on the back of my neck stood up and the gap between our bodies disappeared.
