" Um.. You see... Umm... Ahh.." He said while looking anywhere at me.
"Umm.. Ahh... could you move after those letters?" I mocked him. Seriously, he cannot say that he doesn't have any explanation about his appearance at such an unholy time. I mean come one man, it's freaking 10:00 pm in the night and this is India, my parents would kill him if they ever heard about this incident.
" I didn't know where else to go." he finally said in a quiet voice still looking at the ground.
"What do you mean you had nowhere to go?!" i asked. He should have gone to his parents or his friends or his girlfriend. But why me?!
" If you are thinking why i didn't go home it's because no one is there. My mom and dad are mostly on business trips so i rarely get to see them." he mumbled the last part to himself.
My eyes softened a little at his words. I know how it feels, even i miss my parents a lot too.
' he must have felt lonely.' i thought
" What about your friends?" i asked in a soft tone as slowly walked towards the bed and sat beside him.
" They are anything but friends. All they do is be with me for their on good." he said angrily.
"And Jasmine?" I asked.
"We haven't really talked since yesterday after she saw me with you in the school." He said shrugging his shoulders. I nodded at his words. That's something she would do.
Then an awkward silence settled between us. None of us spoke anything. I still didn't understand why did he come here, but I am not gonna push it. If he doesn't want to tell then okay, it's his choice.
"Soo, you should go home now. It's pretty late." I said looking at the clock. I stood up and turned around to leave the room when he grabbed my wrist, AGAIN!!
' seriously. does this boy has an obsession with always touching me'i thought
I turned around and raised an eyebrow at him, to which he replied-
"Can I stay here tonight"
