The boy found himself not really knowing what to do as he sipped the green tea for the past 10 minutes after he wrote his entry and wearing his vest, until he heard the knock on his door. Standing up, the boy opened the door, revealing the same red haired woman that stood as judge to his and Kiana's fight who had a stoic expression. He was actually at the same height as she was, despite him being younger than her.

"Max, was it?" She asked. The boy nodded responsively.

"Good to know. My name is Himeko Murata, your squad leader," she introduced herself. When the word 'leader' came into mind, the boy immediately saluted to her, causing the woman to break character and chuckled.

"You don't have to do that, okay?" She told the boy. The boy, in response to such, blushed and looked away while nodding.

"So then, do you know who your friends are?" Himeko asked. In response, the boy simply showed his thumb and his trigger finger in a rectangular like shape.

"Just a bit? Who do you know?" Himeko asked. The boy grabbed his notepad and pencil and jotted down the names 'Kiana and Bronya', and proceeded to show it to Himeko.

"You haven't met Mei then?" Himeko asked.

'Is she the purple haired lady?' He asked.

"Yes. I assume that you two now know each other."

When she saw the boy nod, she smiled, but not for the reason you think she had.

'Those files weren't joking when they said he can't speak. I feel sorry for him,' she thought, before he gestured the boy to follow her. He obliged, and he soon followed her to the living room, where everyone had grouped up, wearing their battlesuits.

Although for 'some' reason, seeing all but one of their battlesuits made him very much question how they work as battlesuits in the first place.

Kiana wore her white jumpsuit again, which confused the boy to no end. Bronya's was a reminiscent of something a general would wear, but on a little girl, and without a beret. A dark blue buttoned jacket, yellow shoulder pads and a skirt of the same colour as the jacket. What took him off guard was that her legs were visible, but instead of actual legs, they were actually cybernetic legs. The only one that actually seemed like a proper battlesuit was Mei's, where there was armour at her torso with some kind of mesh that covered everything above the chest. Her arms were also protected with armour, but the legs were still exposed. But overall, it was an actual battlesuit at least.

"Alright, now I'm sure you all already know who he is, so let's cut to the chase, shall we?" Himeko began. They nodded in response, although Max was still behind Himeko, who noticed this.

"Max, why don't you go with them?" Himeko asked. He scratched the back of his head, unsure if that they were quite alright with it or not.

"Come on, Max. Kiana's fine with you now," Mei told him. Looking at Kiana, she was visibly frowning, but she didn't exude any hostile intent.

"As long as you don't touch Mei-senpai, I'll be fine with you," Kiana said in a grumbled manner. Hearing this, the boy smiled as he went beside Bronya, who was at left side of Kiana. The petite girl looked up at the tall boy, before focusing her attention to Himeko.

"Alright, you four are given a mission by Theresa to test your camaraderie. And it's not gonna be easy, unlike last time," Himeko told them. The boy tilted his head, curious on what happened.

"Last mission, you told us to fish for the fishermen," Kiana said out loud, causing the boy to blink at such a prospect.

"That's why it's easy, isn't it?" Himeko pointed out.
