"What's your excuse, huh?" She asked, as the two sat at opposite sides of the table.

'I'm sorry. I didn't know 'he' did that to you. If it was something traumatic, I wish to apologize,' he wrote down on the notepad, before showing it to Kiana.

Yep. He inexplicably used the notepad. Again. When he has a phone.

"Apologizing isn't enough of an apology, you know!" She replied, causing the boy to blink. Not in shock or surprised, but out of confusion.

'Is this a Fate reference? Is she being redundant for the sake of being redundant?' He thought.

'Do people die when they're killed?!' His thoughts were now clouded by Fate quotes that made as much sense as putting a hand into a compressor thinking that anime is on your side.

For example:

'Why does a Berserker go berserk?'

Realizing he needed to snap out of the stupidity that is the Fate franchise, he smacked his face to the table, effectively temporarily removing the stupidity of the Fate franchise out of his head. Kiana blinked in confusion, wondering why he did so.

"A-are you alright?" She asked, letting her anger aside for his concern. The boy, his face still on the table, let out a thumbs up, before writing something down on the notepad.

'How do you want me to make it up to you?' He wrote. She was in thought for a few minutes, before she snapped her fingers. Somehow. Through her jumpsuit. Let that sink in.

There were so many questions the boy had at that point.

"Can you cook?" She asked.

'So you want me to cook something for you?' He asked, knowing where the direction of her question was going by that point.

"Of course! Yesterday, you holed yourself in your room no matter how many times we knocked on your door, telling you that lunch was ready. You didn't even had dinner with us! You just up and left during the evening and didn't come back until nightfall," Kiana told the boy, who seemingly was straight faced, but was internally nervous.

'I didn't really want to bother you girls. Especially since you told me not to go close to Mei, who seem to be quite a cook herself,' he replied. Seeing what he wrote, she crossed her arms and pouted.

"Well, this time, I want to try yours! You might not be better than Mei-senpai, so good luck!" She exclaimed. The boy heaved a sigh, knowing that arguing with her would be pointless once she was set on her decision, before he stood up and went to the kitchen. Checking the time, he saw that it was 12:35. Lunch was upon them, and he wondered if they had afternoon classes.

Might be training period for everyone.

He looked at the kitchen utensils and whatever there was available to him, and he let out a small smile, as he checked through the cabinets. He then glanced to his left and saw a rice cooker. His food in mind began to emerge and take shape, and soon nodded, now knowing what direction he was going for. He looked at another cabinet and found an entire translucent plastic container filled with rice grain, and decided to check the rice quality.

But first, he had to be sanitized.

Lifting the container and putting it beside him, he glanced behind him to make sure Kiana didn't see what he was doing, before he took his gloves off. His right hand was still okay, but the same could not be said regarding his left hand. It was still at his wrist, and the boy could still control his hand perfectly, but that was what worried him. What if the hand would suddenly disobey his brain's order and began to move by itself? Shaking this thought out of his head, he began to wash his hands with the handwash condition near the sink and dried his hands with the nearby towel. Opening the lid soon after, he scooped up a handful of it to examine.
