"Hel~lo~."

"Hello, Sofia. It seems you're still on your mission. Why are you calling me at a time like this?"

"Just a reminder to not go too far with my boy~"

Sofia said this playfully, all the while she struck another Honkai Beast to its skull with a large sword. With one hand.

"You said that ever since I enrolled him into St. Freya. Don't you worry. We'll train him hard enough, but we won't break him."

"You sure, Otto?"

"I assure you, Sofia."

Sofia sliced through another Honkai Beast effortlessly, before her sword spun around her hips, cutting through an entire wave of small Honkai and punched the sword straight into another Honkai.

"So, how is he currently?" She asked, smiling as she kicked away a Honkai head.

"He has a few bruises from a fight he recently had against his squad mate. Claimed it to be a sparring match, but from the looks of the damage he did to her, it barely seemed like sparring at all," he replied.

"Ah~. So he won?"

"Is that all that matters to you?"

"Of course! I trained him to be strong and being able to handle things by himself, y'know!"

There was a sigh at the other side.

"You may have trained him so, but remember. He has a team to rely on. Last time we left him on his lonesome, he almost died by three Emperor level Honkais."

"He did?!!!"

Her exclamation echoed throughout the ghost town of Pripyat.

"That is when his team rescued him. Did you teach him about teamwork by any chance?" Otto asked.

"No. Because I thought he already knew about that when he was a child. Guess I need you to beat some sense into him."

"You know I am not his caretaker, do you not?"

She sliced another Honkai who leaped towards her midair.

"I know. But I also know you'd obey my request," she replied with a teasing smile.

"Hmph. You know me a little too well, Sofia."

"What can I say, Otto? We've known each other for years now. I paid all your favours already. It's time you pay mine now."

"I understand. A promise is a promise, after all."

"So you'll do it?"

"He'll be taught."

"Of what?"

Another sigh.

"Teamwork."

"Good~. Make me proud, Otto!"

Hanging the phone call, she let out a proud smile to herself, as she looked at the chaos she had done. All around her were dead bodies of Honkai of various kinds, while she put the sword onto her back. Looking around the ghost town, she crossed her arms across her chest, hearing nothing but the sound of the wind, followed by faint sounds of a metal chain hitting something metallic. This wasn't her first time being in Pripyat. In fact, this was her 21st expedition into the empty town, and each and every one of those expeditions were for mission purposes. This was one of them, of course.

For those who were never informed of what had occured in Pripyat, in 26th of April 1986, Honkai Beasts had overrun the Chernobyl Power Plant, causing two of the nuclear reactors to overload and caused a nuclear meltdown that forced many civilians to flee from their towns. Pripyat was one of the unfortunate few who were within the vicinity of the power plant's radioactive radius.
