". . . Another one dies."

The man heaved a disappointed sigh, snapping his vision back to the many bubble worlds. Not just one of his host had died, many others followed soon after.

"I hate how it's only the white haired boy that is compatible with me as a host. This is truly annoying," he grumbled, watching as more worlds disappear and reappear faster than ever. He felt slightly perturbed in the sense that whatever it was he planned to do, the worlds would immediately shut him down, preventing him from achieving his objective to take down Herscherr of the Void.

He slowly began to question his own sanity. Why was he doing this again? What does he gain from taking down Herscherr of the Void, whoever it could be.

In his many hosts, he saw that the Herscherr of the Void would always overtake different people, which irks him to no end. At one point, the Herscherr of the Void was his host's own mother, and she killed him by accidentally asphyxiating him by trapping him in rubble.

"Such stupidity."

Looking up towards Max's world, he grew curious at how it was able to survive longer than it should have any right. It almost annoys him.

Meanwhile

Hopping off of the mech's arms, the trio, which soon amalgamated into a group of 6 + a sleeping Max, they watched as Cocolia jumped off of the mech she was in.

"Welcome to the Helios. Try and not get so comfortable," Cocolia spitefully stated, which vanished immediately and replaced with embarrassment when she saw Sofia lick her lips, as if a lewd thought had popped into her mind. In truth, Sofia's lips felt dry, and she did so in an attempt to moisturize her lips. However, seeing Cocolia's ears turn red made her smirk slightly, before the team followed Cocolia into the airship's base. Realising that she noticed, Cocolia let out a 'tch' before walking away.

"Uh. . . W-what happened down there? There was a big flash of light and, Max is asleep," Mei questioned, noticing the blonde boy sleeping peacefully, snuggling himself agaminst Sofia's non-existent chest.

"He managed to kill the Herscherr. That alone is commendable in of itself, and the fact that he's still in one piece is even more impressive, is it not?" Sofia responded, causing them to look dead straight to the sleeping boy.

"Him? Killing a Herscherr? Without a Herscherr Core?" Fu Hua questioned.

"Yes. It sounds crazy, but he did it," Himeko confirmed, followed by Kiana nodding in approval.

"To be quite honest, I didn't expect him to be THIS powerful. As a child, he was quite the depressing one," Sofia stated.

"What happened to my brother?" Rukia piped up, and the trio slowly looked at her before Himeko took out her rifle and Diake's spear. That alone was enough for her to understand what had happened. Taking a deep breath, she shakily took hold of the sword and spear, and hugged the spear soon after. As per usual, Mei went ahead to give her comfort.

"Why don't you guys go in? I'll be here with her, alright?" Mei asked. The others looked at each other and nodded slowly before they left the two alone.

"Who. . . Were you again?" Rukia questioned.

"Mei. Mei Raiden. I'm sorry for the loss of your brother. He's important to you, isn't he?" Mei asked.

"Yes. He is. He took care of me when my parents up and left us," Rukia responded. As she got on her knees with Mei following suit.

"You two were indeed close. What was his name again?" Mei asked.

"Diake. Diake Takanori."

She heard that name twice in that single day, with the first time being when they walked in alongside Emilia, but hearing it now with the revelation that he was dead made her memories slowly resurface.
