Once everyone had their fill, everyone else were busy with their own shenanigans, such as Kiana and Bronya competing against each other in a HOMU fighting game (with Bronya obviously winning), Mei was just watching the two bickering as she acted as the moderator for the two, ensuring that they don't go too far with their antics, Fu Hua was talking to Max, if her speaking and him responding by writing counts as talking, and Himeko and Theresa were just discussing about something out of earshot.

So for now let's focus on Himeko and Theresa.

"So, do you still think he was a bad addition to the squad?" Theresa asked.

"I didn't think he was bad. Just, his admittance into St. Freya was questionable, that's all," Himeko admitted.

"How so?" Theresa asked, crossing her arms.

"You said it yourself. Otto made an exception to have you take in the boy into St. Freya, despite knowing about 'him'," she replied, her body position changed into her holding her hip.

"You're not wrong. There must be something very special about the boy if Grandpa wanted him to be here. I wonder if that's also the reason why he can't talk," Theresa stated.

"I've talked to him a few times, and I can confirm that he really doesn't have a voice box."

"How would you know that?"

"It's just my instinct."

"Right. Your instinct."

Theresa's statement was filled with playful sarcasm, and Himeko knew this, before the two chuckled.

"Well, I'll talk to the boy now," Theresa told her before she walked towards Fu Hua and Max. Himeko watched with a smile, as the boy's attention went to Theresa.

'There's something special about him. Something that would cause Otto to bring him here. Is he a ticking time bomb? Is he just one of those once in a million where there was a male who has a very high resistant against the Honkai? Or does the boy keep a secret that Otto knew would be a powerful asset to Schicksal? My money's on that last one,' her thought said to herself, as she watched the boy salute, followed by Fu Hua and Theresa surprised by his sudden antic, and seemingly telling him with overreaction that he didn't have to do that. The boy, initially baffled, turned into understanding, who then nodded vigorously in response. Watching this was entertaining in its own right for Himeko, as she then watched as the three went out of the dorm.

. . . . .

"He's going through another simulation?" Kiana questioned Himeko, wherein this time, it was only Squad V present as audience, alongside Fu Hua and Theresa.

"He's well prepared for it, at least," Himeko simply responded.

"Subject Max has his own sets of battlesuits and weapons?" Now it was Bronya's turn to question.

"Just one of both so far. You'll see," Himeko replied. As soon as she said that, Max walked into the training hall.

The boy's clothes, instead of what he wore during that day, was changed into his outfit that he wore during his first day at St. Freya, which were the gray shirt, the black tie, gloves and vest, and black pants. The shoes, however, were replaced with black, flat soled boots. At his hip were holsters for the Glock 18s, with clips near his thighs. But what was especially eye catching was his single edged longsword that seemingly bordered into broadsword category. It was held to his back, but had no sheathe. Usually, many would question how he did this, but then they would remember that Himeko has a tendency to be able to do this. The sword itself was nothing short of designs. The entirety of it was a very dark gray, complementing the boy's overall outfit. It had a circular hand guard, with its sector being the grip. The blade itself was bigger and somewhat thicker than what a normal longsword should be, but also smaller than what a broadsword should be, which may classify it as a claymore. Behind the blade itself was some sort of structure to probably support the blade itself. Right at the top place where the grip and the hand guard meet was a trigger.
