People die when they're killed. Except for Sofia.

Hell, she could never die in the first place. To her, getting shot in the head was, and still is a mild inconvenience, as her wound began closing itself, while she blinked slowly, making sure that her memories and movement weren't tampered with, or forgotten.

So far, nothing bad happened to it, except she couldn't hear anything.

'Been a while since I last got shot to the head. I think back in Pripyat was the last time,' she thought, practically reminding herself that she could never die in the first place due to her mutated Honkai resistant cells that absorbed the Chernobyl radioactive waste that made her extremely powerful in any nuclear wasteland. Soon, her hearing returned, and she could hear a man's growl, followed by, "for your crimes against humanity, and your crimes against peace, I sentence you to death!"

She proceeded to hear the sounds of metal against metal, and grunts coming from all sides as she could hear multiple footsteps that sounded like they were assisting someone in their attempt to take down the woman in armour. She could hear the scuffle getting closer and closer to her vicinity, and yet she laid still, waiting for the right opportunity for the killing blow.

Meanwhile

It was clear that with Max's amplified Zombification, alongside the Prototype Archaic with his allies assisting him in trying to deal the killing blow, the fight was now of who can last the longest, with the woman constantly kicking and punching them away from her, deflecting the bullets, or in the special case of Max, backing away due to her not understanding the power the boy had. Every smash he did created a sizable crater, every swing he made was so fast that if not for her reaction time, she would've died already, and every single time she saw her face, it was so feral that she questioned if he was human.

Then again, she saw men as something akin to animals anyway, which made that comparison moot.

Seeing the boy in such a state, and yet still have enough consciousness to know who was the ally and who was the enemy terrified her, as she continuously avoided the many wild, but paradoxically controlled swings of the feral boy. He screamed with every swing, while the others kept keeping the pressure by making sure she knew that they were around to find her weak spots, as Kiana and the men kept shooting her head, which the woman kept blocking, Bronya with her cannon support and Mei, Theresa, Emilia, Rita and Himeko attacking her blind spots, all of which she covered. They knew how much she feared the boy, which made them all the more determined to distract her.

And then, the unexpected happened.

The woman had one of her legs brush against Sofia's hand, which she immediately felt and in response, she grabbed her foot, catching her off guard as she fell. This was followed up by Sofia kicking the back of her head, and positioned herself behind her, before grabbing her neck and began to put her in a chokehold. Max nearly swung downwards but the moment he saw that Sofia was still alive, with the bullet wound basically non-existent, he stopped. Seeing this, even the shooters stopped, and the rest stopped in their tracks as they looked on in shock.

"W-what the fuck?!! How are you still alive?!!" The woman questioned the very thing that was on everyone's mind.

"You don't need to know." Sofia's cold response was followed by her other hand reaching up to her temple, and slowly, she began to twist the woman's head to the side. She had everyone listen to the woman's pained scream, as she struggled to release from Sofia's hardened grip, before they all heard (and cringed) at the sound of a single bone snap. And another. And another. And another, until the woman's life was snuffed out of her, her now lifeless expression of pure terror. Tossing the body off of her, she looked up to Max, who was crying.
