"Karna!"

"Alright, I'm arriving soon, hold on!"

"Geez, Karna. Hurry, you'll be late for your Knight enrollment."

"Speak for yourself, Arjuna! You're in the Army, and you're just 19 without enrolling in school!"

"Psh. Hurry up."

A boy with brown hair and gorgeous purple eyes was seen dashing down the stairs with a scarf wrapped snugly around his neck. On his back was a relatively generic spear with a metal rod instead of wood. He waved at the two figures in the living room, a woman with messy blonde hair and bright blue eyes was seen smiling gracefully towards the brunette, while another male, a brunette as well, but with blue eyes, a much more slim figure and a futuristic bow was seen beside him, laying down on the sofa.

The story shouldn't happen, and yet. . .

Meanwhile

Purson proceeded to convert his motorcycle into double chainsaws and proceeded to cut through the manifested Quantum monsters like trees.

It felt almost familiar to Max, but he couldn't remember when or who or where. Either way, he couldn't do much but watch as the infected arm prevented him from moving around and about.

"Seriously, Sirin? You're pretty roundabout with all this!" Purson said out proudly as he held a chainsaw backhanded and proceeded to stuff it straight into a Quantum monster, and casually walked towards the unfazed Sirin as the monster squealed while the chainsaw ripped it in half.

"Anything you throw isn't gonna do much, Sirin, so just give up AND DISAPPEAR!" As he said it, he threw the monster that split in half, causing Sirin to avoid it in a flash, before disappearing once again to avoid a stab out of nowhere by an unknown figure.

"Seere! So you're here!" Purson greeted cheerfully before slicing a monster. Soon, Max could see the view of a man that resembled Seere, but this one exuded more royalty, as he was holding a spear that reformed itself into a scythe all the while he stood on a horse with wings without much effort.

"Haha. Well, the enemies have bored me, and I simply wish to fight stronger enemies, like her," Seere proceeded to dash towards Sirin, who blocked the strike with the palm of her hand.

"You are wasting my time," Sirin claimed before pushing Seere away by sheer force. Purson caught Seere along the way and the two stood in front of Max, who was officially in the state of confusion. His mission was supposed to get rid of the virus, and yet, how did it devolve into a fight akin to saving an entire multiverse?

He will never know the answer.

"Disappear," Sirin stated before cube structures appear above, below and beside the three. The boy's arm reacted immediately, pushing him away from the cube before it crushed him altogether. The other two simply brute forced the cube to dissipate into small pieces.

"Do you simply think that mere cubes ca--"

A smirk appeared on Sirin's face. Amusement. An expression so rare that they knew it would spell their doom. From the pieces emerged chains that immediately restricted both Seere and Purson from ever moving, regardless of their strength. Sirin proceeded to conjure portal behind her, before firing away spear like projectiles onto the two Ars, leading to pained screams from the duo, all the while the boy had no way of moving. The pain in his body intensified by the second, reaching to a point where the pain felt worse than death.

"DON'T GIVE UP, MAX!!!"

'!!!! That voice!'

"BRAHMASTRA KUNDALA!!!!"
