The boy walked alongside Theresa, trying his best to not get uncomfortable from all the glares he was given by the students, alongside whispers of things he knew were simply rumours.
The two were now in the 'castle' that was St. Freya Academy, and as classes were about to begin, students began to appear in the academy, and the moment they saw the boy, they instantly went far from the boy and Theresa, and the two sweat dropped from this, ignoring the whispers and glares of the students.
"Remember what I told you," Theresa said out. The boy nodded in response as the two continued to walk. The statement the principal had stated caused some more whispers from the students, and the boy also knew what the whispers were.
'Are they this superstitious?' The boy asked with his sign language, and once again, different whispers occur the moment he saw the boy doing, in their eyes, an incomprehensible language that only the two could understand, which led to conspiracy theories. The principal didn't answer his question. The whispers lasted until they arrived at the principal's office.
"Take a seat," Theresa asked. The boy nodded and sat on one of the two seats near the desk, as Theresa sat at the leather chair that was tall, likely to compensate her height. The walls were instead of generic walls were columns of books of various subjects and topics, although it was likely that majority of them were more of archives of the academy's achievements.
"Now then--" Theresa was suddenly silenced when the two heard the faint yell of a loud and high pitched girl that quickly grew louder after each second that passed.
'Oh dear,' Theresa thought, awaiting impact, while the boy slowly squinted to the door the louder the sound got.
"--ReeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEESAAAAAAAAAAA!!"
*WHAM*
The loud sound of a person ramming the door and failed echoed throughout the room, the hallway outside, and possibly the whole school, which caused those within the vicinity of the door to sweat drop.
'Someone you're really close with?' The boy asked as soon as he turned his head back to Theresa. He assumed so due to the fact that the girl outside the door spoke Theresa's name, and not 'Principal' instead, which was the go to for all students to go by, if the rules of the school is the same as his.
"I supp--" the door was kicked open, revealing a white haired girl with bright blue eyes, wearing the St. Freya uniform.
"Kiana! Knock the door first!" Theresa reprimanded.
"I already did!" The girl, Kiana, responded swiftly.
'How does ramming yourself to the door consider as 'knocking' the door?' The boy thought, sweat dropping even more. Meanwhile, Theresa heaved a sigh.
"What's your reason being here, Kiana? I was here about to discuss with him, and you just came along and nearly broke the door down like last time," Theresa asked.
'Like last time, huh. So she usually does this. . . Is that how these people really behave nowadays?'
"To understand why you brought a guy to this pure academy!!" Kiana responded, forgetting to close the door, which caught the attention of the students outside.
". . . Max, can you close the door?" Theresa asked nicely. Nodding, the boy stood up from his seat and went to close the door. He acknowledged the fact that they must keep this a secret, and since Kiana seem to be very close to Theresa, the principal might tell her why, rather than keep it a secret.
"Thank you. Now." Theresa cleared her throat, before she looked at Kiana.
"Kiana, you may not like this decision, but it's from Grandpa himself. I didn't pick him. Grandpa did. And knowing him, it is impossible for him to pick someone who is a bad person. I made that mistake before. My Grandpa hadn't. Yet," Theresa responded. Max was leaning against the door, just listening in to their argument.
