FOR THE REST of the night Cassi didn't get good sleep. She was thinking about the incidence that had happened earlier. When Daphne had asked her about the odd behavior of her in the great hall earlier, Cassi lied that it was just her brain working some tricks on her. The voice she heard -- the cat petrified -- it was all very strange. And the chamber of secrets, she was sure she heard of it before. The happenings seemed familiar to her. . .but she wasn't able to recall it.

Think Cassi, think. Where did you heard that before?

Suddenly her brain presents herself with a memory and she bolts up fully awake. Her eyes were wide as she finally remembered the day when Uncle Lucius told her and Draco a story of Hogwarts about fifty years ago. And the incidences were too similar to ignore and if it's that what she has been thinking, then the teachers would definitely know about this. It was hard to not panic at this information. But there still was chance that she might be wrong, and someone did this only for fun.

The next day Cassi was in her own world. Her mind was still distracted by what she discovered and her friends started to worry about her. Cassi even forgot to be angry at Draco when he asked for her transfiguration notes in the morning. She kept her distance from her Gryffindor friends, just passed them smiles and hello's whenever they crossed path.

She was sitting in her seat with Daphne beside her in the Transfiguration class, finding hard to pay attention. She didn't even laughed when Ron's rat turned into a glass with a tail. Cassi looked up in surprise when she heard, 'chamber of secrets.' Hermione had asked McGonagall whether she can tell them about the chamber.

"Well, very well." McGonagall said. Everyone was paying full attention now, even Cassi. "Well, you all know, of course, that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by four greatest witch and wizards of the age: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Now, three of the founders co-existed quite harmoniously. One did not."

"Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed that magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words 'purebloods'. Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school Now, according to the legends, Slytherin had build a hidden chamber in this castle, know as Chamber of secrets. Though, shortly before departing, he sealed until that time his own true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the chamber and unleash the horror within, and so by doing purge the school of those who, in Slytherin's views were unworthy to study magic."

"Muggle-borns." Hermione said.

"Well, naturally the school has been searched many times. No such chamber has been found."
