CASSI WAS PACING in her room, her hair tied in a high pony. She was planning to tell Uncle Lucius about herself today, as Dumbledore had said. It had been two days since she came back from Hogwarts. She had been keeping her distance with Draco, which of course wasn't gone unnoticed by anyone. Her behavior had changed; she wasn't her cheery self anymore. Cassi usually kept herself in her room, planning how to tell him. And the only problem was that he wasn't at home. He had gone away somewhere in the morning and was supposed to be back till evening.
Suddenly Tinki, the house elf, popped in the room, making Cassi stop in her place.
"Master is back, Miss." Tinki replied. Cassi had asked her to inform her when Lucius will arrive at home. "He Is sitting in the library now."
"Thanks Tinki, you can go." Cassi said kindly and the house elf left.
Cassi dashed toward the library which was in the third floor on the left corridor. She stopped just in front of the door, and knocked.
"Uncle Lucius, it's me, Cassi." Cassi called. "Can I come in?"
"I'm working Cassi." He answered from inside. "Come afterwards."
"But this is important." Cassi insisted. "You need to hear me out."
"Come inside."
Cassi entered inside and walked to where Lucius was sitting. Cassi noticed he was looking like he was stressing over something.
"What is it that you wanted to tell me?" He demanded, rather rudely.
"It's about me." Cassi said with a serious façade on his face. "You see, I'm Merlin's descendant."
An angry expression formed on his face, "If you think you're being amusing, then you're wrong. I have no time for your stupid jokes."
Cassi didn't say anything just looked at him with the same stoic eyes. Not even a second had passed, and a book from the shelves came zooming out right in the hands of Cassi, making Lucius's eyes go wide. With the book in her arm, Cassi sat down in front of him. Without any word, she simple opened the book which contained information about her family and opened the page where her family bloodline was present.
"Look at this." Cassi kept the book in front of the Lucius. "It's my family blood line. My paternal grandmother was Sienna Zygo who married Corvus Lestrange IV. Sienna Zygo was the granddaughter of Austin Zygo. And even though the history books doesn't say it, but Austin Zygo was the direct descendant of Merlin. That proves what I said."
