ADELE'S POV:

Damn!

Because of all the running and ceaseless fear we'd faced, I was already worn out.

I and Tyler were apparently heading towards 'Max's club' since it was a more innocuous idea according to Tyler freaking Scott. I haven't mentioned this yet because of all the hodgepodge going on, but we still had our shopping bags in our hands. Yes, unbelievable--but we managed not to lose it somehow.

But God darn, this shit was so tiring.

When I thought my legs would finally give up, Tyler paused and gleamed aiming a finger at the end of the street. My eyes immediately traced towards the direction and I groaned in relief. A fancy club, which flashed lights in patterns stood in front of us, and though we still had a short distance to cover, I could already hear music buzzing through the building.

Holy moly, it shot some peculiar feelings through me. How long had it been since I went to a club?

Probably ages passed.

"Here we are!" The painted-on smile of Tyler's face now sagged into an epitome of exhaustion, and both of us clearly couldn't wait for this night to end, "Finally."

"Let's hope we find Max in there," I spoke, looking at Tyler and letting another sigh skip my mouth, "You think he'll be there?"

"Well, he should be."

"Should be? Which means there's even a probability of him not being there?" I grumbled in annoyance.

"Ease up," Tyler looked at me, "He's gonna be there, most probably. Let's not waste our time anymore. Come on, let's proceed."

I nodded, releasing another breath.

We commenced walking again, and this time the distance passed before we even knew it. Now, we were actually standing before the front door of the club.

My eyes were automatically directed towards the top of the building. "Bliss Nightclub" Was aesthetically craved in an array of blues, hot pink, and gold lights, which sure gave out such party vibes.

I sighed. Man, this was fannnncccy.

My gaze then moved back to the door and I saw tons of people lined up, eager to get in. And on the said wolf the entrance was a man standing who had a strong build, and his hands were tightly crossed over his chest. My eyes instantly rolled at the thought that we had another problem to tackle now.

The freaking guard.

Though I seemed clearly vexed, when I looked at Tyler, he appeared quite calm.

"What are we supposed to tell this guard so that he lets us slide in without lining up?" I questioned Tyler, noticing that he somewhat knew the answer.

"Nothing." He shrugged his shoulders and I scrunched my face up.

"Nothing?"

"Yes, nothing. The guard knows me."

Well. Let's not pretend as if this wasn't expected. Of course, since Tyler knew about Max's club, it was so obvious he'd been here before with Max and the guards knew him.
