Chapter 19

"Why the hell did I just hear something about my sister having a demon embedded into her body?!" Kayden screamed.

"Calm down, Prince Kayden." Cerise said gently.

"No! Explain to me what the hell you were talking about!" Kayden shot back.

"Chill, your highness. We're working on it." Falynn said, looking at Kayden hungrily.

Gross.

"Working on what, exactly?" Cornelius asked, glaring at Cerise and Falynn.

"Princess Titania has a demon living inside of her right now. We're trying to figure out how to get it out." Cerise said.

"What?!" Both Cornelius and Kayden shouted, causing me to start flinching. Cerise looked at me sympathetically.

"Would you two please be quieter? Princess Titania is having some difficulties right now and you're only disturbing her." Falynn stated matter of factly. Both Cornelius and Kayden glared at her before walking over to me.

"Why does she have a demon in her?" Kayden asked when he calmed down.

"When Vivian attacked her, she was using the soulblade, a sword which was made by Lucifer himself and will create a living demon wherever a wound was formed." Cerise explained, looking Kayden in the eyes. He took a deep breath and looked at me sadly.

"So, how do you plan on getting it out?" Cornelius asked.

"We don't know, so for now, Princess Titania will have a demon inside of her, but we will figure something out." Falynn said.

"How soon do you think that will be?" Kayden asked.

"We don't know, hopefully soon. For now, keep an eye on her." Cerise said.

"I don't need a babysitter." I grumbled. Cerise looked at me sadly.

"Unfortunately, right now it'd be best."

Well, so much for having a good rest of my life. With the future Mirella showed me, I didn't have long. That battle would be coming up soon, and I would have to sacrifice myself for the greater good. I really wished there was another way, but that voice sounded so sure.... so familiar. Vivian could not take over the world or else she would destroy everything good. I couldn't let that happen, and my sacrifice must be to kill off the last demon. Somehow, with Vivian's death, I guess all the demons would die too. Except the one that lives inside of me. Maybe, the reason I have to die is because I have to get rid of the last demon. If only the world could be simpler. But no, the realm of Helleterra is not an easy one. It's where us, supernaturals live. Earth is another planet all together, where humans live. And of course, there's hell.

"Titania, I'm going to bring you to your bedroom." Kayden told me, gently lifting me off the bed.

"No, bed good." I whined, not wanting to be taken off the comfy bed.

"Sorry sis, but you need a better bed. Odette and Cassie are going to have a sleepover with you tonight." I smiled at the thought of seeing my younger sisters. It's been a week since I last saw them, and I really missed them.

"I look forward to seeing them." I said, making Kayden smile.

"They look forward to seeing you too, Titania."

When we arrived at my bedroom, a sight I'd never thought I'd see waited in front of me.

"Ofelia?!" I asked, looking at the girl in front of me.

She nodded, smiling sadly.
