I opened my eyes and found myself laying next to a flower bed. The flower bed held many different flowers like, liatris, delphinium, Canterbury bells, foxgloves, sweet Williams, and nigellas.
"Titania! You did it!" A familiar voice said, running at me. I looked away from the flowers to see Cassie running towards me. Her smile was so wide I thought her face would pop. I smiled and opened my arms for her. She jumped in, laughing and smiling at me.
"Princess Titania! You have succeeded in the task given to you. Congratulations." A voice I recognized to be Ophine's said. Ophine's voice was distinguished from the rest, so it was easy to tell. I looked up to see a woman with luscious golden curls that fell down to her knees and pale skin. She had a large smile on her face and an expression that looked like.. pride?
"Thank you." I slightly curtsied.
"Rise, there is no need for that." Ophine said, smiling. I stood up, looking at her. I was surprised it was just Ophine here. I would've thought that Sorcha, Khimos, Bella, Eurella, and all the others gods and goddesses would be here.
"What now?" I asked Ophine, looking around. Everything around me was beautiful. All flowers were fully grown and trees were tall and a looming presence. Green grasses and gazebos filled the landscape, making it appear like a dream world.
"Now, for completing the task given to you by fate, you will receive three wishes." I sighed in relief, now having a newborn hope. Maybe I could wish to go back to the world of the living?
"For my first wish, I want Azalea to be put back in the realm of the living so she may live a full life." I said, thinking of the demon who had helped me succeed. Without her, I don't know how I would've gotten this all done. Ophine nodded and smiled.
"Done." She said and pulled a mirror out of her pocket. She wore a long, silky pink dress with one single pocket on her hip. The mirror she held had gold frames and a clear surface. In the mirror, a swirl began to form and before I could even blink, I saw who I assumed was Azalea. She had beautiful straight blonde hair with pale skin. Her surroundings were reddish brown with lava falling everywhere. It almost looked as if she was being chased by it. A faint light formed behind her and she turned, confusion evident on her face. The light got bigger and bigger until she was engulfed in it.
"She has been transported to the realm of the living." Ophine said, smiling as she put the mirror back.
"Thank you." I said humbly. Ophine nodded and smiled. I looked down at Cassie still in my arms. She was now so peaceful.
"For my second wish, I want Cassie to be back in the realm of the living." I said, still looking down at my sister. When I looked up, Ophine had a large smile on her face and looked at Cassie.
"Done." She said as another white light filled the air and embraced Cassie's little form. Cassie disappeared a moment later and Ophine held the mirror up again. I looked into it to see Cassie materializing in front of Ofelia, Kayden, and Cornelius. The confusion on their faces was evident until Kayden broke into a wide grin. He ran over to Cassie and picked her up, spinning her around. Ofelia came up from behind and hugged them both, but Kayden's face was still haunted. It almost looked as if he was grieving......oh. He was grieving for me, his younger sister who died by a sword attack. Well, what he thought was a sword attack.
"I know what your third wish is, but there are things that must be done before I can grant that wish." Ophine said, looking around. She gestured for me to follow her to one of the gazebos. The one was she leading me to had a bunch of flowers such as cosmos, daisies, coneflowers, begonias, geraniums, dahlias, and snapdragons. There was even a large cherry blossom tree near the snapdragons. Ophine led me into the gazebo's entrance and told me to sit down. I did and sighed in contentment. The chair I sat down in was a comfy rocking chair with a fluffy cushion. As I got myself all cozy, Ophine began to cast some sort of spell that made the windows of the gazebo looked like a portal. I blinked once, but when I opened my eyes, I saw a movie like scene. Where the windows once were, now there was video playing.
