The cave was dark and creepy, and I shivered with anxiety. There was hardly any light around me as I walked through the cave. I tried calling a magic glowing flower to light the way, but it's as if my powers were nonexistent here. The only light in the entire cave was the entrance, which I can't go back to now. I had a mission, which is to get the sword of mirrors and get out of here.

Azalea? Any idea on how to get some light in here?

Magic is extremely hard to use in this cave, but if you use a certain spell, you should be able to use that to light up the area in front of you.

What's the spell?

Try light of the sun and if that doesn't work, light of the moon. Those are the only two spells that can be cast in here.

Thanks.

I tuned Azalea out as I focused on the spell.

"Light of the sun!" I screamed into the dark cave. Nothing happened.

"Light of the moon!" I tried the other spell, and to my amazement, it worked. The entire cave started to glow up with a bluish-white glow and soon, I could actually see my surroundings. The walls of the cave were a strange blue color with weird snail like animals slithering across. Up on the ceiling of the cave, bats slept in peace and crystals hung down above my head.

I was glad I could see that now.

I continued my trek across the cave and walked past more and more of those weird snail things. As I got further into the cave, they began to glow. I started to jog through the path in the cave and nearly slipped on a small puddle of water. After that little incident, I started to walk at a fast, yet safe pace.

Why didn't you tell me this cave was so..... creepy?!

Maybe that's your opinion, but this place brings back many memories.

Oh.....

Far off in the distance, a torch was visible. Beyond the torch, a room was vaguely distinguishable. I quickly checked the ground to make sure there was no more puddles of water and ran to the room. Every time I got closer, the room and the torch flew further away. I felt as if I was running in a never ending maze.

As I felt like giving up, a sudden pain erupted in my skull and I blacked out.

I woke up in a dark, enclosed room. My arms were chained to a wall and my skin felt as if it was being peeled off. When I tried to move my legs, something was binding them to the ground. Footsteps shuffled around from a small distance and my breath caught in my throat. A light flicked on and a figure appeared, wearing a dark hooded cloak. Since the lights were on, I took in my surroundings. The walls were ravaged with age and parts of them were easily destroyed by elements. The chains binding me to the location I'm stuck in were pure silver and cut at my wrists. A single chair sat at the corner of the room near the figure, who eyed me with dark, malicious eyes. The figure smirked and took off its cloak and I gasped.

Valene stood in front of me in her original form. In all truth, she was beautiful. Valene's dark black hair fell down to her upper back and her black eyes shimmered with malice. Her pale skin was slightly glowing too. Her long, black gown reached all the way to her feet as she spun on her heel and faced me. As she got closer, her eyes began to turn a bright shade of ruby red and she cackled manically.

"Aw, dear little Titania! How I've been waiting for you, I have a proposal for you."

"And what would that be?" I attempted to sound calm, but my voice quivered.

"If you join forces with me, I will bring your sister back."

My eyes watered up at the mention of Cassie. How I missed my little sister. The selfish part of me tried to come out at the mention of her, but I had to push it down. I couldn't team up with Valene, the one who has been torturing fae for centuries! Who's to say she would actually keep her word and reunite me with Cassie anyway? She could just kill me and we'd reunite then. There's no way in hell I'll trust Valene.

"There's no way in hell I'll trust you, Valene!" I sneered.

"Oh, really? I could give you everything, Titania! We could rule the world and have power over every single being!"

"No! I will never be so selfish that I would agree to that! You lie!" I growled. This lady was really pissing me off. She thinks she can just go about and manipulate everyone! Valene glared at me and she dissolved into thin air, which really confused me.

"What the hell?" I muttered. Without another thought, I blacked out once again.

I groaned and rolled onto my back. The cold floor of wherever I was made me attempt to roll over again. My vision swirled into focus as the headache disappeared altogether, but the pain in the back of my skull still remained.

You passed the first test, Titania! Congratulations!

What?

That black out? That was the first test of being in the cave. Well, you were only able to get in because you're a descendant of Sorcha, but that test was the test of selflessness. You gave up the chance of reviving your sister and having everything so you can save the world. Be ready for more tests, but now you may enter the sword room.

When Azalea said, 'the sword room', I rushed towards the room, which actually stayed put. I started to feel excited as I ran into the room. When I got inside, I was in awe.
