Falicia gripped my hand tightly as I opened the doors to the castle. I could hear her heart beating fast as we entered and were met with bustling crowds of the servants, court ladies, and even King Orion talking to a few other elderly fae. Falicia quickly hid behind me as a white haired faery came over to me, smiling widely. Her beautiful white hair fell down to her shoulders and her lilac eyes were eyeing me curiously. Pale skin was met with a dark black dress and dark blue wings.
"Princess Titania? I've been very excited to meet you. I've met your sister Odette. I'm Lena." She held her hand out to me, and I took it, smiling at her. Her eyes darted behind me, where a cowering Falicia hid.
"Falicia?!" Lena cried, looking at the girl behind me. Tears dripped down Lena's face as she looked at Falicia.
"Lena, don't act like you care, you have always hated me." Falicia whimpered.
"I've never hated you. Why would you ever think that?" Lena grabbed Falicia's hand and spun her into her arms, hugging her tightly.
"Because.... before you left.... you told me to go die." Falicia said, crying.
"Oh, Falicia! I didn't mean for you to hear that! I was talking to father, who had wanted to drop you in the death forest."
"Lena, don't lie."
"I'm not! Think before that. Who protected you from father's insults? Mother's abuse?"
Tears fell down Falicia's face furiously as Lena spoke, and she hugged her tighter.
"What's going on?" I asked, selfishly interrupting the moment.
"We're sisters." Lena said, looking at me while still holding Falicia's trembling form.
"Oh! I heard you were a lady of the court, I just didn't know your name." I said to Lena, who smiled.
"Yes. Apparently my sister heard me defending her and misunderstood the conversation."
"About the death forest.... is it that forest near the castle?" I asked Lena, who eyed me curiously before answering.
"Yes, why?"
"I found Falicia there." Lena's eyes bulged and she started to bombard her sister with questions. I decided my prescience was no longer needed so I walked away from the sisterly reunion and towards my own room, hoping Cassie would be there. I knew it was probably just wishful thinking, but one can only hope. But the scene I found in my room was the worst scene I ever saw. Cassie's body was sickly. A gray color. Kayden, Odette, and Ofelia were sitting in a circle around her. When I walked in the room, negativity filled me. Vivian went too damned far this time. Me? Fine. Cassie? No way! I'm done with this. I walked over to stand next to Odette, who looked up at me with teary filled eyes.
"She's gone. Falynn couldn't do anything." Ofelia said, tears falling down her cheeks.
"I have to do something." I said. My fury was overwhelming.
"Unleash my powers." Izzalee whispered in my mind, and for once, I agreed with her. This had to end now.
"Do it."
The cold sensation of Izzalee's powers washed through my veins as the dark magic reached my center. I growled as the urge to destroy filled my veins. Fire exploded from my fingertips and Odette, Kayden, and Ofelia backed away, surprise on their faces. My wings grew and grew as fire engulfed them. Horns flew from my scalp and fire covered them too. My fingers glowed an eerie purple and I flew out the open window before anyone could say anything. I flew deep into the death forest and roared. Fire covered all the trees surrounding me and I was cause of the worlds next fire age.
